registered and bought these names only to have them email me 4 hours later saying they're not available.

    ani.me
    jesus.me
    just.me
    wikipedia.me
    gifts.me

i thought when i paid for them and received receipt, etc, that means end of transaction. but i find later that it means nothing and i lose out on all my secondary choices too because by the time i found out what happened they were all taken too.

    damn you godaddy.

GoDaddy wasn't updating that well so you can use dynadot.com to search to see if it's available and if it is, register it at GoDaddy and you'll be fine.

How do you get in on Landrushes? How can you buy before the names are available?

why are you people even using godaddy? Use a propper registrar like dynadot.com. I ordered domains one day earlier and when they were released for sale dynadot got them for me automaticly.

I dont use godaddy, any domains they see that has a good name they just buy quickly, so they can auction it and get hundreds to thousands of $$ depending on the domain. screw godaddy

Well it seems things are a bit hectic there lately.
    I submitted a ticket twice...
    Usually it takes 24-48 hours
    It's been 4-5 days!
