The State of Israel Has Strong Roots in Terrorism

Israel has been a terrorist state from its beginning, and has its foundations in terrorism.

Three Israeli prime ministers were or are terrorists:

Menachem Begin took part in terrorist acts in the 1940s, including the attack on the King David Hotel which killed 91 people.

Yitzhak Shamir was the operations commander, and later leader, of the Stern Gang, a terrorist group which was responsible for a string of political assassinations.

Shamir was a member of two militant Jewish underground organizations which ... were active in counter-terrorist acts against Arabs as well as sabotage against the British.

Ariel Sharon initiated the Sabra-Shatila massacre in which between 1000 and 3000 people (mostly Palestinians) were murdered, and now leads a terrorist campaign against all Palestinians living in the occupied territories of the West Bank.

It can be argued the US has strong roots in terrorism as well as the Brits believed our revolutionary fighters, the minutemen were in fact terrorists.

It all depends on which side you are on....

Actually I think the media term would be "Freedom Fighters"

    That's a good point too.

I'm proud of them for starters.

They were who freed my great nation from British control. They also did not do what I would consider true terrorist activities, they simply did not wear uniforms, nor did they follow the standard rule of war of the time, they were a militia.

Conquering land is a bit different than over throwing foreign rule ;)

I for one am not proud of the history of the US conquering land from the Native Americans, it's one thing that actually sickens me when looking into the history of the US.

I'm shocked anyone would be 'proud' of conquering anothers land.

    You suffered during exile?

Hmmm many civilizations no longer have a country to call home, should they go around conquering others land? Should those people be exiled so that people like you can claim to of been exiled and in need of a home?

My wife sent me to sleep on the couch once - does that count as being in exile?
