Hi i'm new to clickbank and have been reading guides (lemonariums definition of a bum, the uber affiliate marketing guide and a few others).

i am having a bit of troubles working out the landing page.

First i bought a domain, for example say www.productreviews.com

now i want to set up a few landing pages for say 3 products, i don't want to buy seperate domains for them to save money.

would i be better off with subdomains or folders
    eg www.product1.productreviews.com or www.productreviews.com/product1

also for the landing page, i have read about a few different types of landing pages, these would be for a single product.

the first one is a page with a few pictures, a testimonial, and like 6 dot points of the best points of the product, and a big call to action button.
The 2nd is a single page review of like 500 words, with the affiliate link at the end.
The third is a proper website, of say 6 pages, with content and the product affiliate link weaved in.

I'm just a bit confused as to what type i should start with, and if i have the right kind of idea.

    Cheers,
    DJ101

hmm good question,I was also wanting to ask this,as to which type of landing page would be better
Can anyone show a good example to follow.
Mainly we need to tweak around 2-3 options to see which one is actually working for us.

I would go for creating folders for each landing page. It's quicker and easier.

That's actually what people usually do, so you won't go wrong.

What type of landing page you use depend entirely on the niche. If it's a problem niche, and they have a problem such as acne or smelly feet or whatever, a review works better from my experience. Like "I had so smelly feet I couldn't go anywhere, but then after FootFreshXZ3000 I couldn't believe it!", and in the beginning you'd say that you didn't wanna buy it for xyz reason, etc.

For people that search for a product name, you'll do better with something like an overview of the product, don't have an opinion of the product, and just tell them what it is without hypish "Get Rid of Smelly Feet In 5 Seconds!" but more like, just tell them WHAT it is, like an overview of what is included - WITHOUT THE HYPE.

And then you have "Actual Consumer Feedback" or whatever. That means testimonials, lol.

For people looking for something, but don't have a product name in mind, the kind of people that type in "best lawnmowers for nighttime mowing", you know, whatever. Then you wanna have a multiple product review. Like an overview of 2 or 3 products or so.

    Good luck...

DJ, you said you have 3 products to promote, and you have three ideas for landing pages, so do all three.

Build each one of the landing pages you discussed and put one of your products on each page.

This way you will find out for yourself exactly what works and what doesn't, and you will learn a lot along the way.

Its also depends on how you are going to promote those landing page.
If you are intend to do PPC than consider purchasing different domains.
With different domains you will get a better quality score = low min bids.

The good things with separate domains is the freedom to make it an authority website once its justified the investment.

To do this right you need to create "squeeze pages" which essentially asks your PPC traffic(or any traffic) for their email address before you will forward them to either the product review page or the affiliate site.

Think about it....if you pay for PPC traffic you shouldn't "GIVE" those users away for free to the affiliates with absolutely no way to remarket to them in the future to recoup your costs. Money wasted!!

I guarantee you that if you send your PPC traffic to my Clickbank site, I will make 10 times more money on remarketing my offer and other offers to them than you make on the affiliate sale because I WILL capture contact info for the traffic you send me.

Hope that helps...if so send me so rep.
