If i were you, I would have taken the add to another place from the pictures.
It's much better to have a relatively fine CTR rate than to have your Adsense account banned.
Do it quick.

That reply from Google brings back memories! When working on my site, I couldn't find the referral banner for Adsense and after continuous hounding I ended up with two emails from Google support both telling me to ask within their community where they sent you also. Just looks to me like automated responders, with little time dedicated to their publishers!

I understand that they are the top ranked site with 137+ Million monthly U.S hits alone... clearly their busy, but still it shouldn't take 2 or 3 emails only to be directed to some internal forum! It turned out the Adsense referral is not available for UK publishers! Only Adwords which I found strange... but hey ho shame I wasted so much time awaiting a Google response.

Anyway thanks for these posts... has made me realise just how important Ad placement, colour themes etc really are. Keep up the great work!

hi kalta1, i like your success story thus far. i'm building an events coverage site which is very photography inclined so hopefully i'll have similar success. so the better you do, the more encouraged i become. anyhow, since everyone is talking about TOS, you're posting your CTR which i find extremely helpful but i think i read somewhere it's against TOS (so maybe round off the %'s a bit). and also i didn't see any Privacy Policy which i recently found out is a requirement.

 

is it Googles Privacy Policy they want me to post on my site? or my own? btw thanks for the heads up

 

they want you to post your own mostly to warn visitors about 3rd party cookies and metrics. here's a generator i used that you can customize - found from another thread.

 

Uhhh...has anyone noticed his site has hot models on it. That tends to help with traffic

 

Try to concentrate on traffic.. Means quality visitors.. not from any community site or digs

Congrats man.. great going... Was there a sudden rush in traffic, or has your traffic been increasing lately?
And hows your CTR... still around the same?

Keep it up.. remember doesn't matter how much you make with adsense.. ya can't give up taking pictures of them pretty woman.. because thats probably what keeps your visitors coming back

Great work, Kalta! Your help's been invaluable. I not only used it on the sites that I do have, I started another and it's actually doing better since i have more of a clue on how to build sites and such now

 

i have the ads on multiple sites but 99% of the revenue is from the one site

 

james.....yes there was a rush of traffic from some blogs that picked up some of my marketing stuff. its not a consistant $100+ a day...but my revenue has been slowly building more each day.....my ctr is almost in the double digit range ;~)

 

thats awesome...i think you have caught adsense fever ;~)

 

try placing your ads close to your buttons, this has worked well in the past
