I know it's an estimator as it's the other one I posted, but they have to estimate on something.....in my opinion

    Try search on http://uk.yahoo.com/
onlinegamblingdeals.co.uk rank 3 for keyword online gambling

I click it twice from search result, so you should got at least one unique click.
If not then your web statistic must be the reason you did not see any click.

I'm using Google analytics and Statcounter. Statcounter shows your click but analytics dont(they refresh slower I think). But still only your visit from Yahoo for "online gambling". It looks like ssandecki is right and nobody search for this keyword, but how they get all this estimates? all the keyword research tools I used show loads of searches for "online gambling"

All the techniques I'm using are learned from this forum...so if they are the best techniques it means this is the best place to learn them;)

Anyway...I ranked so high and so quick(in about 3 weeks) only because "online gambling" are the first two words in domain...thats what I think

For me, you come up #28 for "online gambling" in Yahoo UK (I see you at http://uk.search.yahoo.com/search?p...8&fr=yfp-t-501&fp_ip=CA&xargs=0&pstart=1&b=21). Not sure why there is such a big discrepancy but that's probably a good reason why you aren't seeing traffic.

If you're only appearing on page 1 in the uk, you're already dealing with a smaller segment of traffic, and then when I search in the UK I see you on page 3, so you're not consistently ranking high enough to get the real traffic that the keyword "online gambling" generates.

    Maximallimit -

Your site ranks on page 3 on uk.yahoo.com and therefore isn't getting any traffic.

Don't expect to see too much traffic from uk.yahoo.com - especially on page 3.

I have a site ranking top 5 (including a #2 and #3 rank) for keywords like web hosting review, web hosting reviews, affordable web hosting, web hosting provider, web hosting providers etc.. on uk.yahoo.com. Guess what? virtually no traffic. I got about 3 clicks in the past 2 months.

If you rank top 5 for your keyword I think you will be seeing some traffic because online gambling is so big in the UK, but before you get top 5 you will probably be seeing nada.

It might be too much for a single person who knows almost nothing about SEO...I think it's time to get profesional help

Keep trying - that's a tough keyword you're chasing down and you're having good success so far. The next step is to figure out what keywords are going to convert to revenue for you through banner clicks.

The word Portal in your title might not be ideal, since most people don't look for portals, they want either the casino or they want deals (coupons, top sites, best bonuses, etc).

Yeah, you dropped down in the result. That's too bad. Keep up the good work, you'll get back up there in no time :)

If you start to get good bingo traffic let me know, I have some business contacts that can set you up on a very lucrative bingo affiliate program for rev share and cpa.

have you researched the keyword before using it? If not check it out in wordtracker. Yahoo is poor for traffic, google is better

I will let you know thenotself...but it's a long way until I'll get a steady stream of targeted traffic

I did some research (wordtracker and adwords keyword tool)...it's tougher to get on google than yahoo...but anyway I'm searching now for a new keyphrase....not so competitive but still with traffic...didn't find it yet though
