I was only paid $5 for my work. I will send the PSD file until I receive an explanation from the contest holder regarding the winner of the 120x600 category. Who are the other winners from the different categories? Did somebody else been offered the same payment as I am?
You were payed $5 as a consolation, as were a select few offered. If you do not want the $5, I will gladly put in a dispute with paypal. I offered you $5 as I already had enough banners, but I liked yours. Since you already put in the work of creating it, I decided to make an offer, which you accepted. Let me know if you want to refund the $5. I havent put the banner up anywhere. I can disgard it if you like.
Try to ask the contest holder. I've asked mine through PM he said: He told me that gydian was a business partner of his who eventually made a banner for him. I find it quite strange because what's the point of having a contest if you have asked someone to make a banner for you already. I haven't found a single post of Gydian in the "contest" section of DP too. Hope the contest holder next time should be explicit in announcing who the winners are because there are already a lot of "bogus winners" who have "won through PM", if you know what I mean. Anyway, I've sent my files already.
No bogus winner's here. Gydian (Ben) is my partner. You went to our site, you saw he is. When you have a partner that is 50/50 things have to be mutually agreed upon. We both didnt see the same light on most banners, so he decided to make them himself. He is handy like that. Infact he designs all of our sites as well. If you want to continue to attempt to drag my name through the mud (when I have been nothing but positive to members at DP, check my feedback) then please refund the payment and you can have your banner back. I offered you a few bucks out of my own pocket (not our advertising money) because I know you put alot of work into it. So please spare me the detective roll. -Brian
That's pretty dirty though. This is a contest you held here. If you were going to pull something like that, then at least have him either a) submit his stuff to the contest or b) admit to the contest that you've decided to cancel. And you're right. People did put a lot of work into their stuff. And you did that. Totally uncool.
Why do I have to show every banner submitted in my own contest? I don't. So basically if you put up a contest and do not like the banners, you still pay anyhow? I run a buisness. I offered 75% of the entrants a consolation prize even though chances are 99% that I will NEVER use their banner. Is that fair to me? I am the judge, and I picked and choose which ones I liked. End of story. I reserve the right to stop/cancel or hire a designer at anytime. Why? Because I am a grown-ass man. Thanks, Brian
...And yet acting like such a child. You were making out like a bandit with a bunch of nice banners for dirt cheap. If you're going to hold a contest, at least post that you may cancel it on your dainty whim. With contests, people expect that at least one winner will emerge from the ones who tried their best to make a banner. Hire a designer flat out next time instead of making so many people waste their time on a contest you don't intend to carry out. Betcha they won't be just $20.
I don't know why you're getting upset at the contest holder when you *have* the choice of accepting his offer of $5.00 for your banner or not. What exactly is your point here. Are you upset that he offered you $5.00 and not $20.00? Sure, it wasn't the $20.00 per banner but then again, he didn't choose yours did he. He was gracious to make you an offer on your banner, which you could have simply stated "no thanks" and held out for the $20.00 which you probably would have never of gotten. Instead we have this bickering. Yep, that's mature....Great business ethics! sheesh.

He at least chose 2 real winners and paid them... Much better while considering all those scam contests with fake winners or no winner at all..
Alright enough is enough. Refund my payment and I will destory the banner. If you havent manually refunded it by tommorow i will put in a dispute. There were 2 WINNERS. The last 2 sizes of banners I choose to have designed by my partner.

If the last two sizes were won by your partner after seeing all our fantastic designs... then who won the other "first two sizes" where you mentioned that it was again won "via PM"... another bogus winner? I've been here longer than you are and this is the first time that happened to me so please don't brag about your iTrader. By the way, what happened to your previous logo contest where you didn't declare any winner? You still have a lot of answering to do... that's definitely, bad for your business! Honestly, I was supposed to be happy with your measly $5 until you exaggerated everything because we just asked you some clarifications. Now you are already threatening us. You are putting yourself in the spotlight. So please spare us... your $5 dollar is such a hassle - definitely not worth it!
