What are these called?

I know this is a strange one but could someone please tell me what these are called. I have arrowed what i mean. You can move them left and right to make the options bigger.



The reason i ask, is that in one of my other programs whatever this is called has completly dissapeared. So i want the name so i can search there forum for an answer.

 

Oh and don't laugh at my arrows the took me 10 seconds in paint. lol

 

I think most people refer to them as tabs, that's what I call them too, but I suspect this is a cheap way to get clicks to your site. Why is the image linked to your site?

 

its not suppose to be i thought that is how you use the image tag, sorry changed. On a different forum i had to put the link to my site for it to show the image. Just having the code as is now, did'nt work on the other forum.

 

Maybe they're called dividers or something like that. (no idea just guessing)

 

Ohhhhh sorrrryyy. I read my last post, and I stated it a little blunt. My apologies.

 

I don't know what they might be called but I would call them partitions.

 

I always called them divider bars, but on the thing to customize my browser toolbar they're called separators.
