Does anyone know of some sort of correlation between having no adsense throughout your website and achieving a higher SERP with less time in the sandbox? Then the ads could be put on after achieving that position if there is a correlation..
I've experienced this with affiliate links. When I took themoff my SERPS went up. But Personally I actually found that my serps went up slightly the day I actually ADDED adsense ads to my site. This is only a personal view and might just be a freak coincidence
No, first if Google actually gave priority to these sites it would kill their image if this information ever became public. In fact, they probably give LESS value to sites displaying to many AdSense ads if you were to ask my opinion.
Sorry but it's not true. I have websites which depend on adsense and affiliate links but they have very good ranks in their targeted keywords (which are always competitive). It's silly if you try to optimize your site but you can't monetize your website. For what reason you are doing it then?
I think being no ads in your site does not have relation to high serp ranking. You can rank your site even if there are ads on it. The only thing you need is to promote and build more backlinks on your site to rank it well.
A spammy looking Made For Adsense site may suffer in serps for being a spammy looking Made For Adsense site, but a useful well-made site that also has adsense won't suffer. In may help it get indexed initially, as although the adsense and aawords bots are different from the search engine craler, they are 'aware' of each other's existence as far as I understand it.
