rather then selling the product you should presell. Warm up the visitor. You can do this by explaining the benifits, explain how it has helped you, use testimonials etc. It should also be much smaller and get people to click on your hoplink asap.

Also, I DO like the domain name! It has some good branding however it wont do anything for SEO.

You should use different pages to target different keywords.

Eg, make a small presell page and target the keyword: make solar power home, then another page for "earth4energy review", then "build wind generator" etc.

50 hops and still no sale I really suck as an affiliate. Currently using Yahoo marketing. Any advice?

 

50 hops isn't that many really - unless you are dealing with brand name traffic - which a new product like this won't really have yet anyway. Not all hops are created equal.... A really targeted hop would be someone who was searching "buy earth4energy" ... a less targeted one would be "earth4energy" ... and then you have "how to make my own solar panels" that would be quite targeted - much more so than "buy solar panels" (as that's not what they'll be doing.. although maybe you can convince them they want to make their own instead... you are still convincing them to do something different, rather than giving them what they already wanted - that's much harder) ... it's all about how much the visitor is targeted specifically to the product.

 

I had a sale on 11th July in 7 clicks but I am crossing 90 clicks now there is no sale after that. I am refining my ads in my adwords account. I need your help. I am using common keywords such as "wind energy" I am redirecting my domain www.earth4energy-review.com to the sales page. Previously I tried with a landing page but it has huge bounce rate so I decided to redirect the domain. Here is the landing page I used before: www.earth4energy-review.com/index-old.html

Any help to get sales is appreciated.

 

Yep, very correct.
instead of windmill generator, use "make windmill generator", or how to make windmill generator... then use, BUILD windmill generator, how to BUILD windmill generator.. THEN make make WIND MILL generator (space between wind and mill)

I personally use notepad to generate thousands of keywords

Hey mate, I am still testing keywords.. I am down to $11 per conversion.. But I think I can do better.. I would like to get under $8 per conversion.

I am hoping to get the list out in under a week.

 

BTW I can see my second sale yesterday, But lost $30 after my second conversion. In fact my first sale was from $2.

Suggestion: Why don't you provide conversion tracking to your website for affiliates?

One thing to remember about ggl tracking..

If somebody clicks your ad, then clicks the back button and decides to order from somebody else. GGL will still count your click as a conversion.

To avoid this use something like xtreme conversions or manually add a TID to every keyword

Actually, 1 affiliate has made 14 sales already TODAY!
This affiliate has made over $460 in sales today alone! If you are reading this mate - very VERY well done.

There are also other affiliates around the 10 sales/day mark. Its just amazing. and if your not promoting this one yet then you are missing out on easy money. I have a PPC campaign going which is at about $11/sale and I am also getting sales by posting at wiki sites like wikihow.com, also ehow.com - yahoo answers etc.. They are all good!

 

I just wanted to let you know that I've been fumbling around this niche for a while now and I'm glad to see there is finally a quality product to sell to these people! I added links from one of my existing sites today and I hope to find time to get a site up soon.

I'm pretty new to the affiliate game, so I'm sure I'll be back soon with some questions.

I am gonna have to try getting a landing page for this because after 300+ clicks with a direct linking ppc campaign using your keywords and my own I have managed 0 sales still.

 

I've got a lot of random clicks but no sales. Got to say that I haven't even promoted this once though.

I'll be hitting this hard with a few tactics this week. Let's see if I can bring in some sales

 

dont know if I can keep promoting this product...
sent over 1100 hops, not cheap crap traffic, from adwords and squidoo,natural search traffic. Not One Sale!
amazingly stayed on the first page of google for many terms for this niche,(and not just generic earth4energy terms)hence the many hops.
I mean, this is crazy!
there is just no way there hasn't been a sale with this many potential buyers hitting this page. I can understand dips in and out of sales, i promote many others items on clickbank, but I've never sent this many hops without a sale.
this sucks! paid for domain,pay for advertising from 2 sources(adwords,bidvertiser),build squidoo lens=no sale!

Im going to post my keyword lists very soon. These are not only good for PPC but basically everything - squidoo, ezine, hub pages, etc etc.

I have seen traffic from your domain (.co.uk?)
Are you targetting traffic from everywhere or just the UK?
Im not sure but maybe people see the .co.uk and think its for UK only?
