There is a directory that is displaying my code in their site. Over the past couple of weeks or so I have been impressed with the amount of visitors they're sending (looking at my statistics). But then I started getting suspicious when I looked more closely.. I could see that many of the "visits" had the same IP, and came from the same page. {{{alarm bells}}} -- *ding* *ding* *ding*... So I go to their site and view the source. They have my website in a hidden frame in their page. So, I immediately think: " wow - THANKS!", and a moment later I had a break frames javascript on my website. Now I get all his traffic redirected to my site for free. http://www.jmskye.com ROFLMAO! EDIT -- At this point it's been like that for about 12 hours. I am wondering how much longer it will be until he/she realises (I'll assume it's a he by the template that was used). Also, he will see this thread, because when everyone clicks to go see, it's going to show in his statistics. So I just want to say: Thanks jmskye.com -- for all the free traffic. Another Edit -- If you click "stop" on your browser just as his page loads, it wont redirect. Then you can view the source and see what he's done.
I didn't get ,what is that fnd. Can you pls tell it again exactly how its work --------------------------------------- www.Pc-tutorials.co.cc
Nice. Please update on what happens. I always like seeing people who take advantage of others get their comeuppance.
if you have some nice codes i can use your codes in my site using frames so u waste your bandwidth and l get visitors thats what the above site was doing and the OP made a little script to break iframe and got the visitors
Break frames code is like this: <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript"> <!-- Begin if (window != top) top.location.href = location.href; // End --> </SCRIPT> Code (markup): If the page is in an iframe or a frame, it will break out.
I can't believe that he still hasn't realised. It's a reasonably popular directory too. I'm getting quite a boost in traffic. He's going to be very upset when he finds out lol. Oh well..
upset lol its his fault. u can enjoy the free traffic now also i suggest you to put a bookmark link in your site
It's a partner referral network which enables members to gain thousands of links on the front page of other websites in exchange for serving 5. That's about the short of it.
good job.. now all I have to do is hack into a major site and put a very very small iframe and then use the javascript Jokes.. anyway good luck with continueing to get traffic
Not exactly. jmskye is a thief. The site was using an invisible iFrame to link to the original poster's site so that jmskye could then utilize the code there without having to pay for anything or even give credit where credit is due. The OP altered his OWN website in a very trivial fashion to ensure that when he was linked in a frame his site would take over the browser. jmskye still gets the initial traffic, but then those folks all get the content of the OPs site. Very clever.
