I want to descrease my positions

    Hi All,

    I am appearing in the first for some keyword, but i dont want to be in the 1st page. I want to move my URL from 1st page to 2nd or even 3rd page. Please share your thoughts with me.

    Try changing your title, it does affect your SERP a lot. Maybe modify your meta tags etc too.

    you are one of a kind huh? a lot of webmasters are dying to get on the top position and you.. you wanted to be ranked at the 2nd,3rd page? :eek:

    hehe.. yeah change your title.. desc.. make it not related to that particular page.:D

    Basically seo is used to increase the ranking in serp . but if you want to decrease then first change keywords in content and title tag and dont do any optimization techniques,certainly your page will go down in some days.

    Hahha - that is a good question! Just remove the keywords from the content of the page that ranks so well and replace them with synonyms.

    That's a very very strange request :)
    The easiest way is to leave your site unattended for some time but of course if you want to put in extra, just get rid of your meta tags.

    Remove specific keywords from all your tags and remain them in the text only.
