Hi, I would like to withdraw from PayPal, but my country isn't supported:mad:

I tried Xoom about 7 times now, and they all got canceled without explanation  I e-mailed them about 14 times, and I always get the same pre-made message

    Is there any alternative?

    Thanks!

When your account is not supported, you are not even allowed to have a Paypal account so there is no need for providing any withdrawal option since you should not even be having a paypal account in the first place.

The alternative is to wait till your country is supported. Did you sign up pretending to be from a paypal supported country ? Xoom would only work with verified bank account and if your name matches that from your paypal account and the details you provided is that of an unsupported paypal country, the transaction should be rejected because of money laundering laws and also because it does give the impression that you are provided fake information when you sign up for either paypal or xoom.

I mean when my country is not supported to withdraw - I am only allowed to withdraw to a US bank. I can open an account under my country (it's in the list) but I can only withdraw to a US bank.

What kind of support is that?

And all my information is 100% accurate. I didn't even send money to myself, I sent it to a relative who lives relatively close to me, so I still don't see why Xoom payments get canceled. And I selected cash pickup at a local bank (which requires an ID), not direct deposit nor home delivery.

I signed up with 100% correct, verifiable information. My PayPal account contact information is the same as my Xoom account, and it is also from the same country.

Why not just send the money directly to a bank account so you do not need to trouble your relative to drive all the way down to the bank to collect the money and risk being robbed on the way ?

Why is it so much trouble to withdraw to a bank account ? I thought that is the easiest, safest and fastest money to do it. I am not sure about Morocco but here in Singapore, bank counter service cost more money then if you do it electronically.

Because Xoom doesn't support bank accounts in my country either. Only cash pickup and home delivery.

Tried both, and both got canceled.

All the 4 countries (Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Morocco, and Nepal) which XOOM no longer cash up pick, none of them does support receiving money at Paypal with the exception of Bangladesh which is not even a Paypal supported country.

So basically why is this a big problem ?

Which country are you from ? And what was the Pre-made email which you got from Xoom ? Maybe it would give you a clue on why your transaction was terminated.

I believe there is also a limit to the total amount of money you can transfer via Xoom within a 30 days period.

First, the problem is that Xoom is canceling all my transactions. That's why I can't use them, and whenever I e-mail them about it, they send me a pre-made message about me violating their TOS (which I read about 3 or 4 times now, and I still don't have a clue of what I did wrong).

When I e-mail them about their TOS, asking for an explanation, they send back the same e-mail, over and over again.

And I don't think I violated the limit ($1000) because I haven't had 1 successful transaction with them.

They keep saying it's the TOS, and I keep e-mailing them asking them to explain, and they just send me back the same message.

I even sent them multiple e-mails asking them whether I could send money to the same country where I live, or if it's forbidden, and they send back the same message.

This is the message I have over 10 copies of on my e-mail:

Which country are you from and what is the pre-made email which you are talking about ?

If you can post the pre-made email here, maybe someone can explain the email to you.

You can find the support phone number when you login to Xoom. Give them a call and ask them for an explanation.

sorry but im too tired to read all the comments
just get a prepaid visa from a company like payoneer they will email the card to you
add it to your paypal account make sure you use the same first name and last name when you
sign to payoneer - then just withdraw to credit card 5$ fee it should work, enjoy.

PayPal only allows US bank withdrawal in my country, which is absolutely ridiculous.

well before the credit card option was available, there was a US bank kit that you could purchase it includes forms and the exact instructions what to do with them so you can open a bank account in the US and receive an international VISA in the mail.

a few years ago a girl in my computer class sold her equipment in MUOnline for money on paypal and this is the method she used.

    good luck

Have you tried sending the money to yourself instead of your relative ? I am not sure if it is the same rule as with India where you cannot use Xoom to pay someone else from the same country as you.

Yes, that was the first thing I tried. When I send it to myself, it got canceled, so I figured that maybe it's because I can't send it to myself...
