Hi, I got problem with my adsense, the CTR goes suddenly too high about 76%, but on some days it low as 4%. What should I do, will this effect my adsense account ? sometime impressions are only in two figures xx but ctr is 75% what to do now?
Too high CTR is not bad. High CTR will attract more expensive ads to appear in your page and vice versa. but too high for too long, i think you consider report for invalid clicks. hope this help.
If the CTR goes as high as 76%, the first thing that comes to my mind is clickbomb. I think you better report this unusual activity to google before they take any action.
2-10% ctr is ok..but 76% ctr is way too much..Someone is doing clickbomb in your site..its better don't say about your site to your friends in which you are using adsense
are you if it is 76% then Google can close my adsense account, it is like this today 1% CTR yesterday 55%CTR at 14 it was 75% I dunno what to do really.....
If I were you I would definitely sign up for Google Analytics on your website. I have found especially with my new adsense websites or vre websites that I purchase or build that I first sign up with Google Analytics. It is always a great idea to start tracking your visitors in case there ever is a problem and you have proof to cover your assets. Google Analytics is one of the best ways to learn how your visitors find, navigate & convert on your websites. I would start to track your visitors each day, and I would agree that you should consider reporting for invalid clicks. It is better to be safe then sorry. I would inform Google with what is going on just to to take a safe measure. Good luck and I hope that you figure this problem out quickly so you don't have to worry about it anymore.
Come on guys. 76% ctr is no big deal on this traffic volume. When you only have double digit traffic you will see spikes in the ctr like this and it is no big deal. Op--- Go get some traffic man. Get your stats up there a bit and you won't see weird ctr %'s like this. Good luck.
once I had CTR 200%, because i create a new blog and tell my frend for it. he clicks two time but he was the only visitor so 2 clikcks, 1 visitor. but then I tell my frends to visit the blog and impressions increase and CTR becames about 40 %. few days ago, there was clickbomb on my site: i go to check the status and; about 200 clicks, earnings: 15 cents... forunately, I had more than 1000 iompressions so CTR was not big... later i discover that this was my frend. i tell him to click once, but he want to help me more and he clicks all the evening... btw: Google Analytics is incredible thing! I have it on all my sites and blogs and every day I track my visitors...
this was a lot time ago and i receive may paymet after that... Google is to busy to check all sites... if they saw a cheating, they will close your acc, but the possibility that they will see isn't 100%... I did a lot of mistakes and I receive my payment! this was lucky that google didn't see it...
