I was preaty mad today when I looked at my site stats, yesterday I got 289 people, but today I have only gotton 69! Why did it go down so much?
depending on your counting tool, I have seen AOL users shows up each page view as a separate users. How are your page view numbers?
Fluctuations are normal, just track the trend and some vital signs like indexed page count and Page Rank for various search engines....
Man it is the second straight day that it is at a low count. So far today I have only got only 59 people. What could be wrong??
Check that you still rank higly for your keywords and check your referraly stats maybe you got a bomb of traffic from digg or something on day 1?
Going from 289 to 69 or 59 is normal fluctuation. Now if you went from 4000 to 50 it wouldn't. Don't worry so much for so little.
LOL.. yeah.. hire one of them psychos.. they can look through there crystal bollocks and tell ya Anyway.. are you using Analytics? cause its been playing up a bit.. I have 5 hours of missing stats from yesterday. Cheers James
Nope Statcounter, and I have been working like mad to get my numbers back up, Ie. submitting to new directories, social bookmarking site, and checking my keywords as well as writing another article. geez!
New to this site, I have adsense... but I don't get ANY clicks on my ads? My website shows traffic, just no $$ from adsense. For the person who posted this, does the traffic affect your earning of money, or do you need people to click ads also while they are there?
Don't get carried away by the day today fluctuations in traffic and press the alarm bell. Analyze the traffic for over a period of time, say a week and look at the variation in the source of traffic and come to a conclusion. Do the rectifications, wherever it deems fit
Wow... very pointless. I consider this spam! Anyways, that stinks man, have you tried checking your PR and alexa ranking? Maybe some high pr back links had removed ya???
from the topic i thought your traffic increased but from the post it seems decreased. It is quiet normal. May be google dancing your keywords.
