Can anyone recommend a good directory script that I should use for a directory that I would like to start. If you can also guide me as to where to get the script from I will greatly appreciate it.

You can add 'IndexScript Link Directory Script' in your list as well.

Most of the people use phpld. But phplynx is also getting popular now a days. You can surely choose 1 out of these 2 :)

    not another good script thread,

I would recommend you check out phplynx, esyndicate, phpld and try the demos or download the free versions and try them, then decide what features you require and whether the script you are testing supplies those features without much or any modifications.

If you find the script does then you have the one you need.

    Thanks

Phpld is the best, and then esyndicat. Most of the directories are run by these 2 scripts.

Your probably going to hear this a million times but PhpLD (www.phplinkdirectory.com) is probably the best one you can find, its fairly cheap, only $25 with a link back, and offers some great features and with the help of a few custom mods can be super offical.
