Is it good to promote a product with 21.39 gravity.

This is one of the least important questions you can ask.

    Instead ask these questions:

    1. Is the sales letter convincing?
    2. How much money will I earn for each sale?
    3. Is this a product I can effectively pre-sell?

As far as your gravity question:

A gravity of 21.39 means there are at least 21 other affiliates (probably more like ~30) who have made at least one sale of the product in the last 8 weeks. So that gives you an idea that other affiliates have had some success with it - so why can't you? It's also a low enough gravity that you're probably not going to run into insane competition.

And yes, for God's sakes. Listen to this. There's nothing worse than newbie IMers trying to sell IM products. This is a huge mistake in my opinion. Forget about the IM niche - it's too competitive and it's hard to make conversions when people are replacing your CB hop anyway!

Thanks guys...Its actually about sleep disorder/insomnia. I am kinda interested in the topic so I want to market it. I am currently promoting a product with a gravity of almost 200.

I think insomnia is a great niche - although I haven't got into it myself - I am actually considering getting into that one :) It's definitely a problem that a lot of people deal with (including myself. I have a crazy sleep schedule... if you can even call it a schedule)

I tend to promote stuff in the hundreds... because they're proven sellers... but that's just me. I actually started in the IM niche, lol.

You'd be better off listening to those guys for now though.

Here's the biggest tip I could give you: PROBLEM NICHES!

If someone has a problem, and they want to get rid of it NOW - they will pay the price, no matter how much. They buy on impulse, which rocks for affiliates, lol.

Sleep disorder? Yep, that'll work. Thanks, lol. You shouldn't have told me that ;)

    ... seriously.
