$20 Image Contest

Hi,
This contest is for an image/logo for my website. I currently have 4 boxes in the top left hand corner. I will leave all design inspiration up to you but can provide ideas if you would like.

This contest ends 20th of July although I will end the contest early if my partner sees a logo she likes.

I had a pm with some very nice logos. I had to take them as the winner. Im sorry I didn't get round to posting this result, I completely forgot.

I like the idea of the words in the background, im not too sure about the font. My partner is going to to decide on the winner but it is looking good. One thing to point out is that I am keeping the grey gradient background.
I would like to also have the logo for other places, not just in a banner.

Maybe just concentrate on a good image to replace the squares. I like what you did though, thanks.

 

Logo concept:

 

Thanks tightwad, is looking good. My girlfriend says to tell everyone that we want the logo to go on our grey gradient background and that it should include the same colours as our present logo.
If the logo could be related to our project in some way, words is the obvious relation, then that would be brilliant.

Another concept

 

We like this one more, good use of colours. Good stuff. My partner did mention that she would like it a little more related though, the letters pw or something to do with words or our project, etc.
A great improvement though, excellent

 

I really like the 3D effect in this design ghost is very good. We are looking for a little more colour though and having our text underneath is not vital. Read my comments on tight wads latest attempt to give you a better idea of what route to take.

Thanks for the feedback - I guess you didn't see the "P" and "W"....

 

LOL, nah I did see the p but didnt the w. I can now you mention it. Maybe they could be more prominant, but not too much to make it look like a standard p and w, not sure really. It is good though, definetly.

Yeah, I think it has potential, it looks good. It reminds me of those blocks you get as a child with different letters on. I would like to see what it looked like in 3d. But yes, has a good basis. Thanks

Overall - I like this one for two reasons (dispite me entering)

(a) Uses the colors of the previous logo.
(b) Retains the "block" feel from previous logo
