Is it worth it to register mobi?

    I have found some domains that are not registered. Two words .com, .net all taken. Only mobi left. I saw one of them being sold for 800$. My question is really worth it to register .mobi? And basically what do you think about this domain. It is not very popular that is the reason i did not registed them,

    Mobi is a really poor TLD. Two words on a .mobi won't be worth very much, most likely reg fee. Maybe a word or a couple letters on a .mobi will be worth it.

    You need to know if this domain is good or related for/to "mobi" or not? if yes, you have reason to register it. Mobi only mean mobile business. .com is the king so it is for everything

    Back in the day it was QUITE the craze. Sportsbook.mobi sold for 100k+ and people were buying like crazy. However, these days, IMO, it's over.

    I have noticed what seems to be a steady decline in the resell price of .mobi domain names.
    IF you are purchasing as an investment, you may want to carefully evaluate the market.

    IF it is for development, I suppose it might work for you IF the domain were firstly relevant to the
    .mobi extension. In my opinion, with .mobi names, two word domains or other long domains
    are not suited to the extension.
