Well this is general chat (ANYTHING I WANT TO POST) This is an infraction thread MODS might want to sticky so everyone who whines about infraction can post in just one thread and not the entire forum i find it strange that so many infractions are being sent out on a forum this size. Sure there is the PM me people aka 50% of infractions but post that i needed help on but noone would help (if they let me explain the situation my 4 infractions could have been avoided. 1. they moved my thread thought i didnt post in the first place since internet slowed down so i retyped post again (infraction for muti posting) 2. Question on the messenger option for pms (though i was talking about emil and not dp) yet another misunderstood infraction 3. For posting in general where apprently we can post anything we want but cant (since i complained about some of the sellers and some SOME not all mods) 4. i posted in wrong section (this i accept) they tell us not to worry but if you get infractions isnt thier a chance you get banned? others would have been no problem if we are allowed to explain our posting (not everyone has t1 internet connection on 2010 computers) let me make this clear to mods This is a thread for people to post thier infractions stories. Since we arent supposed to talk about it in support i thought it would be nice to make something like this for people who want to. This Also Helps You Guys Because People Can Post It All In One Thread Now Cant blame a guy for being bored and fustrated with the system (note to all _____ who tell me to get off the forum) two words F K O ff = freak off (lol) So post your stories
You probably bashed that out in a fit of frustration, but how about using some capitals and punctuation next time so that we can actually read it?
I just received an infraction for saying I'll do a service for someone... My exact words were: What the hell is wrong with that, too short? Would it have been acceptable if I had said "I would like to take on this service." it means exactly the same thing.
It is not the length of the post that mattered here, it is what you posted. You should of PM'ed the person.
i never got a single pm or email with explanation of my infractions, then they gave me another infraction for posting "why i got the infraction and where to disagree", then there is other pipl allowed posting such threads like "will drink urine for 5 bucks" without any infractions.. so I'm guessing, anyone's posting here will get one as well politics sux
Fair enough however my post was deleted, in the same thread someone has posted the same thing and what about the hundreds of other threads? It's bs.
What bothers me is that I got an infraction for no possible explanation. I'm not a beginner forum user, I've been using forums for many years, I just couldn't figure it out. Furthermore, the infraction is lasting about 5 months. I just accepted it and didn't bother doing anything.
Moderators just don't go handing out infractions just for the fun of it, I think they get a lot of reports they have to look after.
I know, I'm just saying that they should give a better reason. Because the reason posted didn't make sense to me. Perhaps it was a missunderstanding
What bothers me is that your all a bunch of newbs posting complaints about infractions.... Get over em, and move on...
No worries mate. Just move on. It may seem un fair but the Mods have a hard job. I have been popped also. There are many other foums on the net. If DP bothers you take a few days off from it and return when you are not stressed. Just have fun posting.
Hey man, what is your purpose in life? Were you born just to complain about the infractions?? Open your eyes, DP provides a place for us to gain knowledge or make money. Then why is it so hard for you to obey their rules? What do you want exactly? You wanna act like DP owner here, huh? Listen, when you get infraction, learn from it. DO NOT DO IT AGAIN. Just that simple. JUST DON'T DO IT AGAIN. Even animals can learn from their mistake.
