good topic.. well, near me, the design section is effected by this thing due to some indian newbies in the hunt of quick cash.. cheers d3sign3r
Yes, you are absolutely correct. Even the content market is ruined and you can see writers working at slave rates. $3 per 500 words, $2 per 500 words. Do you think it is the price for contents? Due to these rates, we professionals need to suffer and lower our prices too. They totally ruined the BST!!
Yes, you are right! They just charge such rates because they get a higher value for dollar and they don't understand that they are destroying the market like this. Specially the high school and college students are doing such things just because they need cash for their daily expense. Truly speaking, i don't have any objection but why will they offer at such low rates. They can offer their services at a proper rate but they will never do it because due to lack to knowledge!!
well they might had increased their prices too, but they cannot deliver the level of design/content work matchable to the regular price..
buddy you are right but not only the design section these indians are making such fishies in every section of DP and Professional designer/coders are really affected only because of them.
If they can't match the regular price and deliver quality service upto standard, then it is better to stay off but they won't do so and continue to ruin the market. Yes correct, just because of them we don't receive orders because every buyer wants to save their money and so they opt such services.I just hate it.Now a days, buyers just see low rates and not quality.
No offense intended towards Indians or any other nationalities, but the whole undercutting thing has left me short of business too. I really do have to wonder why there are people willing to do X amount of work for so little money...
Well, to me $10 its pennies but for some DP fellows its a lot of money. You have to realize that and if you don't like it, try to find other alternatives. But we have to live with this global world
