Well it is nothing bad but it isn't good to do business with selling pics of new baby. Why not allowed it free?

 

I think it should be encouraged with Brad and Angelina donate the full amount they get to charity.

 

^ I agree. I think when celebrities use their star power in order to get money BUT give that to the needy or to charities, I think that's a commendable thing to do. I just don't like it when celebrities "pimp" (for a lack of a better term) their kids out just so they can get big bucks.

Who cares, if we didn't care then magazines wouldn't buy them, personally I think it is disgraceful that someone would want and my parents wouldn't have sold pictures of me [probably because I was fat and ugly]

 

if someone is willing to pay - why not?

don't most parents share pictures of their kids? and that is not for money

i do agree that some of the proceeds should go to a charity - but that is their choice

I haven't heard of a celebrity who has given out their baby's photos for free in recent years. I think the celebrities themselves know that in one way or another, they can earn from the photos.

It's fine. It's as if they're selling their baby, just pictures. For example, when you take a beautiful picture, you can sell them in national geographic or hallmark cards. Celebrities get paid for being in the cover of a magazine. Maybe, Shalom is starting early

 

With Brad and Angelina I heard that they money they got for the first baby they donated it to certain places so with regards to them selling to highest price if its going to charity again then no

 

I wonder if the recent mommies gave away the money that they got for their baby's photos to charity?

Celebrities know how to be in limelight and how to make quick bucks using their status

 

It's a free market. More power to them. Given the fact that paparazzi follow them everywhere and will make money off peddling pictures of them, why should they not be able to do it themselves? If the demand wasn't there, there would be no money. Since the demand is there, it is simply a question of WHO is going to make a buck - the lucky photographer who snaps the first picture, the publisher who gets it onto the newsstands first or the parents. I have no problem putting the parents in the mix.

 

They get loads of money for them so why not. Isn't selling baby pictures the reason why so many celebs are pregnant these days?
