Jeremy's been red-repping me like a banshee lately, so I know he'd be tickled pinko if you'd green him, he can green you, then get back to me for yet another rep in a matter of days. :D

The Horn thread was entertaining but it did raise awareness on morals.

His life experience is truly great. To represent the country in Vietnam and not coward in the duty of war and to be a member of the most elite fighting force in the world is more than most politicians. He's got guts unlike most that have never been in battle. George Washington would be proud.

I need to send grim some greens too. Oh and maybe homebizseo because I was quite bored while he was gone.

Well, my experience with Grim is such that I'd send him greens any day of the week. Homebiz, well...we have not really seen eye to eye on much, but time will tell.

Come on man, that Joe Horn thread was utterly entertaining, especially homebiz's posts on the 4th.

Not to mention all of his victories on the battlefield of the WWF. It takes a lot of guts to wrestle in your underwear with another man on national TV.

And according to Guerilla, though he included Ventura's UDT/SEAL Team experience in his post, it's this very experience that makes Ventura a murderer, and a war criminal, in guerilla's mind. As jumbled as that may sound, you'd have to ask Guerilla to explain that one. Best of luck.

Guerilla, of course, would like us to believe Ventura renounced his fellows when he renounced the war in Vietnam. Bit tough to keep a straight face, when we have Ventura's own words and actions before us. For instance:

Come on now...Would you be brave enough to wrestle another man in just your underwear on national TV. Lets hope you are a show er and not a grower.

What makes Ventura a Murderer? The fact he was serving our country and was willing to give up his life?

    HOOYAH

Guerilla will not distinguish fallen servicemen and women from the people who send them into harm's way. He has said so, most cuttingly, and repeatedly, over several threads now. So, in guerilla's eyes, in answer to your question, yes. And a war criminal. .

I'm not that brave. Maybe thumb wrestling in my underwear. But not full on greco roman wrestling.

NPT is trying to cry about me and another thread to anyone who will listen. Apparently after the mods got tired of his crying, he started PMing all of the DP regulars, some of whom forwarded his PMs to me for massive lolz, and for most of the night, he has been sitting in the forum, waiting for someone else to tell.

I'd rehash the whole thread with you, but I imagine he is dying to. Besides, if I get involved, it will be another thread closing.

Guerilla's view on vets is contained in many places. I've posted but one, on this thread:

Now, the "issue" he is referring to is here, and what he is referring to is my response to his naming my recently deceased brother as a murderer and a war criminal. Now, in guerilla's world of keyboard bravery, he feels free to do such unspeakably vile things because he's a gutless, miserable little prick. And I freely admit his decision to assault my family yet again, and do it with such baneful malice, hit a wound that hasn't healed. I am grateful that people of honor, such as Grim, stepped up to speak openly:

The offer stands, guerilla. You once puffed up your chest about "meeting." I'd be desirous of doing so, now, up close.

NPT I did not know about your brother. I respect all veterns and the soldiers in the Middle East as well. Most people, unless they go to a hostile front, have no idea of what they are talking about. Until a person walks in a soldiers boots, they don't have a clue.

Thanks, Homebiz. I agree with you, and it saddens me, more than would be apparent, when ignorant people pontificate on this issue when they don't have a fucking clue, or the character to match.

So far, I don't think anyone in this thread seriously believes Ventura is a murderer, except for guerilla(if he stands by his "principles").

I posted my thoughts about what it is to be a patriotic dissenter in another thread. In my opinion Ventura is one. He is both a patriot and critical of his government. As far as I'm concerned he served his country in several ways and if anyone has the right to question their government it is someone like him. It doesn't mean I agree with his conclusions(and I don't think he's reached one on 911, he emphasizes that he has just questioned the official story). Ventura has demonstrated love and sacrifice for his country and because of that his patriotism should not be seriously questioned, at least not for being critical of the government or questioning their version of history.

The one that equates all vets today - myself, wisdomtool, my brother, any and all vets serving the "imperial state" - with SS nazis of Auschwitz, you miserable piece of garbage.

That's crap. I never equated anyone with the Nazis. I'm making the point that not all veterans or soldiers deserve respect separate of their actions.

Geezus, could you possibly be a bigger drama queen than you already are? All evening, trying to push the closed thread in another thread. Don't you have a life?
