This is called "pandering," and "changing the tune, depending on who is listening."

A bit of a refresher - a thread created by the OP. Subject? The smears on Obama:

    Elsewhere,

    and

    and

Why the double standard indeed. "Principles."

That's kinda like picking the lessor of two evils is it not?

You know voting for the lessor of two evils is still voting for evil ;)

Ventura said that recently, though he was quoting another famous person, know who that was?

And I thought McCain was the one who is gray!

I didn't think he looked that bad, but I don't spend a lot of time checking out men. Maybe we should ask one of the Obamaphiles what they think.

    1. He took part in a criminal war which makes him a war criminal.

    2. He was a member of the UDT/Seals, which is an elite, covert military tool of the N.W.O. scumbags.

    3. He totally dissed Hulk Hogan, Sly Stallone and Prince in the 80s, in the latter while wearing a feathery boa around his neck which was clearly out of season.

All the more reason to get him in!

Maybe if we could get more politicians to wear feather boas and shit on Hulk Hogan we could get more done!

Between you and me, I don't think it matters, now that Mia is "in agreement" with:

Aside from what seems apparent, aside from Guerilla's not giving a damn about American servicepeople, Mia's new stand on those of us who don't believe in trashing returning troops as "glorifying war and soldiers" is telling, if surprising, it seems to me.

By the way, Guerilla: Quite some time ago, now, I know you once claimed to have not gotten a PM sent to you. FYI, I did send a PM this evening, inviting you to discuss things in person, if it is convenient for both of us, as it is obviously difficult to express oneself clearly via an online chat room. I'd be happy to receive your reply. :)

Oh, I'm sure they will PM one of us at some point to tell us how much they cannot stand our posts!

Is there a way to easily block PM spam from loons here?

You can set PM only from Buddies. Then make sure they are not buddies.

    You mean this PM, Jeremy?

Not a fan of hypocrisy, no, especially after months of listening to you pontificate on what does, and doesn't, make for a "good American." I understand you're now cool with:

Many aren't. Surprising, as I said, since you certainly pontificated along opposite lines pretty consistently since I've been a member here; along the lines of:

Meanwhile, your buddy calls Vietnam vets murderers and war criminals:

Indeed, this is his views of all vets, since all wars since the Revolutionary War have been "offensive" in his mind. Not to mention his direct assault on the memory and honor of someone loved very much, the story many of us sadly share. And you're in agreement with Guerilla's views here. Congrats on your newfound ethos.

I'm not a religious person, but isn't an alliance between you and guerilla one of the signs of the coming apocalypse? :D

I suspect more of a Vegas-Chapel kind of brief marriage - with one particular neo-conservative waking up tomorrow with a massive hangover, and attack of the drunk-guilts: "holy hell. I joined with Guerilla in trashing American servicepeople, because I'm really, really mad at NPT's calling me out on my Obama smears, and couldn't find another way to 'git 'im.' "

Can you still get an annulment for such a thing? I hope so, or else we're in for a deeply sad couple over the coming months. :D

Now, in all seriousness, Guerilla, many moons ago, you made a play at bravado; based on posts seen today, I have indicated my desire to meet with you to discuss your views in person, knowing the limitations of web-exchanges, but I haven't heard from you. The offer stands: if convenient, as I am in the midwest, I'd be very happy to have an up-close discussion. :)

Son of a bitch, I've gotta spread some rep around first. Guerilla's bound to say something funny in the next week or so, so I'll green rep him.
