I think it's a great domain. I wouldn't consider selling it if I owned it and yes, developing would be the option.

Reg fee undeveloped? Your crazy if you think Id sell domain for 15 bucks.

I wouldn't even sell it for 500 dollars undeveloped. It was extremely hard trying to come up with a short memorable dog forum name on a .com , in fact this is the only one I could find that I think is great, so Im lucky to get it.

I just did an estibot evaluation.. it says reg fee..

My opinion is it is a good niche domain.

But the point is even good domains get value when they have content, traffic and backlinks.

Well bots are lousy way to determine domain value. Considering how hard it is to find a domain that is easy to remember for this particular niche and on a .com and on a high valuable keyword group, I think its really good!!

OK how much would the domain be worth if it lets say I develop it to a PR 3 with compete rank of 1,000,000? (very doable for me to do)

Its worth reg fee, 9 out of 10 people will tell you the same. Don't ask for an appraisal if you can't handle people giving you honest opinions, idiot !:D

It would depend also on what keyword the domain has PR3. b/c then you'll have to analyse how many peeps are searching for that keyword monthly. Would there be any revenue flowing through that site? If so, then Profit-Cost will have to be determined into the appraisal. The content of the page also plays a major role. Somewhere in the $x,xxx for a good site.. however, that's really a guess considering the stats aren't there yet and its purely hypothetical..

I think ill just keep it. 1,000 or whatever developed, it would never be worth what I could make off this domain someday just by always keeping it.

uhmm, just for the sake of commenting...

For the OP, please dont get offended if you got honest neutral reviews, this thread is not for self gratification (or that's what we thought), people comment here not to adore or praise you, they are actually trying to provide unbiased comment.

If you cant take it, i would humbly suggest that you ask the mods to close this thread.

around reg fee for a reseller unless developed. good value if developed into a busy forum

anyway seems like that this is registered on 2008-07-12, and i dont think it is registered before as well (even from ns histroy cant see any clue of previous drop)
from my experience if a domain is worth more than at least $15 to a reseller it should be atleast initially registered (drops are fine) before 2008-07-12:)

Well just means i thought of a domain no one else did.

This domain targets the keyword Dog Owner which gets 18,000 searches a month on google, plus it can also in the domain because of the carefully chosen keywords can target "Dog Forum" "Dog" and "Dog Owner Forum", all with an easy to remember and brandable name

Good for development. Undeveloped you may get $100 from a motivated buyer.

You always seem to ask for appraisals then get on the defensive.

If you don't want honest feedback, don't ask for an appraisal!

Because people don't know how hard it was to get this domain. This was really only a good memorable dog forum name left on a .com I could find. I think it could be worth a few hundred just on domain alone and a few thousand if it was really developed well.
