In the UK it's £99 for the phone 8gig and £159 for the 16gig and then £35 a month for 600 minutes, 500 texts and unlimited internet.
I waited in line for 5 hours just for them to go "We are all out..." right as I was like 3rd in line. Really sucks.
No actually, a US Apple Store... I waited from 8 to 12 then they told us they were out... Sucked real bad.
Awww, the iPhone website says that : That sucks...why don't they know that they're going to sell more?
Its kind of a marketing strategy, I mean you guys are here because your Gods on the internet but maybe I can explain (briefly) why thy do this. This is practically exactly what happened between Nintendo and the Wii. Instead of producing huge amounts of iPhones (or Wii's) to let everyone who wants one in the first week to have one they "under-produce" so that there is a sense of urgency to pick up an iPhone, because you know it probably won't be there later. If your walking in a store a full year after the Wii launch and they still haven't produced enough that you have to call up your local electronics store to ask them when there next shipment of Wii's come in. Then you go wait in line for an hour and pick one up. (True story) As I said Nintendo did this, and Apple is probably doing this but on a lower scale then Nintendo. By creating urge in the customer, they feel inclined to buy it.
If you want use GPS on the iPhone 3G, you need activate 3G? I think the GPS is working together with Google Maps, and for this you need internet connection... Another Method for Real GPS on your iPhone is this: h t t p : / / iphone-navigation.blogspot.com
Just wait till the 4G iPhone is released bet it still won't have MMS and you still wont be able to send files via bluetooth, or be able to record videos
Thanks for that. A lot of people have been asking if I'm selling the phone and I was at the time, my buddy in real life bought it however.
