I tried to submit my script to script directories like hotlinks and such but those directories make your script disappear from sight after few weeks making it completely useless... Writing articles about my script you say? well...most places will immediately remove your article claiming its advertising. They will only allow your article if your product is already popular or they will think your looking for an advertisement spot in their site. this happens in wikipedia, articles about products only stay if product is popular if not it gets mr slasher. Investing money on adwords others may say? I dont have a cent for advertising so its something that cannot be of any use. At the end i won't know if my product would have a good acceptance or not because it will never get known, its a dead end like always...internet is an open way for the rich, for the rest its the inevitable dead-end.
have have tried selling it here at dp? You can get some nice results. You have to sell it in the marketplace, content section.
I have always asked myself the same question But currently that's is the place to sell scripts, and depending on your script you can get quite a good amount of sales.
The easiest way to get customers is to join forums related to the niche your script is about.. also you may try PPC advertising (Adwords). What is your script doin.. Give me more infos so I can help you.. I'm also selling scripts P.S. I dont like your negative attitude .... Cheer up

Webmaster forums are filled with Webmasters. Use your signature link to expose your script to your target market. Don't have much money, then buy some signature links on this forum and other forums. They are cheap and bring traffic. Use bum marketing to build links/traffic/seo to your demo or sale site. If you don't have a deep wallet, you simply have to work harder and it will take longer. But you can still achieve your goals, that is if you believe in yourself...
it depends on what the script is but how about getting a clickbank account and making an affiliate program for it. Its a very hot way to sell software.
