This week i withdraw some money from paypal, though i never know that my credit card account was closed, like a month ago, and i ignore a letter from the bank that i receive, since i didn't know the reason that they do that.

My question is, since my account was closed and i withdraw the money, my money will return back to my PAyPal account since, my account is closed, right!!??

I have contacted paypal, but they send you a reply in 2-3 days, so i am expecting the answer in minutes.....

I need to know from your experience will i receive the money back, or they will be lost

    Regards!

If the withdrawal is unsuccessful, the money would get back to your paypal account. This may take some time as it would depend on how soon your credit card company reflects the issue to paypal and how soon paypal would post it to your account.

You would be sure that there would be some penalties for funds transfer failure.

Next time do not ignore any letters from your bank because most letters from them would be very important.

A very important detail is that i have this credit card verified by PayPal, and when i withdraw i saw 'pending' and after - 'completed'. I think the money must return since the account is closed. My opinion.

In my daily life i am an accountant and i had few days ago a similar experience, and the money are send back, since the account is closed.

So, all i needed to know was a more experience opinion on that.

    Thank you !

PayPal will charge you a $50 Return Fine to get the money back into your account, and even that is IF they can get it back as rightfully they have given that money to your bank. You may have lost it all togeather.

Strange as it may seem, my account was closed before I withdraw (i didn't know that). Even that, I contact the bank and they assure me that all future transactions to this account shall be redirected from the sender.
That means the money will be pushed back, so Paypal doesn't have to get the money back from the bank since the transaction wasn't completed.

    More opinions expected!!

In my opinion the money should return since the transaction wasn't completed, meaning that you didn't receive the money and the account is closed. The money must return in your PayPal account. Wait 4-5 working days for return, and then contact by phone PayPal and explain what happen.

    Hope you resolve the issue.

    regards.!

If you really are an accountant and can't keep track of your own bank accounts, I sincerely feel sorry for any clients you have scammed into hiring you. Judging by your very poor use of grammar, I find it hard to believe you have additional education that would qualify you to be an accountant. Try being honest when you post, you'll receive much better support.

The Paypal account is tied to a bank account AND your credit card. Are you saying that the bank cancelled your credit card AND also closed your bank account? Holy crud, what a lousy accountant. Think carefully before you respond, you've already proven you lack the skills for your chosen profession.

Why has it taken this long for you to figure out you should just call Paypal? Use a tiny bit of common sense, this isn't too difficult to figure out.

Budy, to express my self more "friendly", so you can understand easily. The credit card account was used just for withdraw money, when selling something, like websites, it wasn't my daily account. So, the reason they closed the account is bit curious since the card was good until 1 Jan 2010. Maybe you can explain the reason why the shut down the credit card, since it had few bucks on it...friend!!! If you have more opinions please keep it to yourself

Once again, why is it so difficult for you to simply call Paypal?

I did , and they told me to wait until next monday, because it takes few more days until the money returns. And after that if the money still not there they will return the money, since they understand the situation that no transaction can be completed to a closed account and the money must return. SO, in the end i have to wait few days...
