So I am thinking about setting up a forum on a specific topic. The goal is obviously to foster a community and generate a few bucks in the process via ads. I've read that often people employ paid posters to help kick start the forum. How do you go about finding them? Obviously they need to be well informed about the forum topic. What is the avg pay per post? Lets just use "swimming pools" as an example topic. Mike
You can find them everywhere, even on DP you have people advertising their services for paid posting. Pay usually ranges from 10 cents a post to 50 cents a post; you always get equal to or less than what you pay for when it comes to paid postings.
Why dont you post a link to your forum first?? You might be able to get some real traffic instead of paying people to get you going.
There are many people offering their own paid posting services on DP. You can check the BST forums for them. Usually the rates average at about $10-20 for 100 posts, some threads, and a user account.
Good info, would like to increase my numbers !! Not sure if I will do this, but at least I know where to look.
You don't have to pay for posters. Check the forum in my sig, you can buy posts with the forums point system, or trade posts with other members. Give it a shot
Digital Point hands down. You can pay people next to nothing for thousands of solid posts. Just post what you are looking for here and you will be amazed at how many people respond.
First off i can give you forum posters and i sure done it enough to give u some ideas. also note : People say its against Google's TOS... well there are ways to avoid it
