I don't think an American made this map. We don't think of you as communist at all. Yeah unfortunately will still exist lol. Our economy drops about every 40 years. But it boosts higher then ever before.
If America was run by one tyrannical dictator for 50+ years then maybe it would cease to exist. But fortunately we have democracy which means no one can serve more than two terms as president so if we have a bad one, we only have him or her for 8 years and not 50. Our economy may be bad right now but it's been bad before(this is no where near as bad as the great depression) and we've come back from those tough times and we'll do so again. That's the great thing about this country. When we have bad leadership we have the ability to change it instead of being stuck with it for eternity.
IF the American economy were to collapse - the world economy would too ONLY difference is that at least we will (within reason) be able to generate food for our people ...
We do not have a 'democracy' It's simply amazing that so many US citizens think the US is a democracy, basic history people the US is a Republic, our founding fathers feared true/direct democracy. We are a Republic which can be argued we have some democratic principles, we however are not a democracy.
yes you are right. i answered this in another thread. there is no doubt that America is a land of freedom. we have some democratic principles but saying that we are a democracy is somehow questionable. there was a very interesting thread on yahoo answers on this topic and i'll post it here later!
