Ok some questions for any people in this niche... Are you running ppc? if so how many keywords do you have and what is your avg daily adspend? how many articles do you have out there? What do these products convert at for you? Whats your refund %? landing page or direct linking? Which one do you promote, water4gas, run your car on water or other? is your campaign profitable? I run ppc with 4 adgroups and about 200 keywords total. Adspend is about $10 a day at 0.09 a click. Currently only have 6 ezine articles that bring in maybe 10-15 clicks to my landing page a day. my conversion ratios are absolutely terrible. I am talking like 1:500... Refund is like 10% I run a landing site. Yes an actual full site with multiple pages I promote water4gas as being newb friendly and run your car on water for advanced users looking to save money. my campaign definetely didn't start off profitable. However I think I have turned it around to the point where I am breaking even or a slight profit each week. Im still trying to tweak my site, adwords and get more articles out there. I am really getting frustrated with this niche though... I would love to hear other peoples successes or failures in this niche.
is it so hard to believe? its not realistic at this time to replace gas with water. There was a piece out the other day that it cost $10,000k for a convert job just so the driver can get a few more miles to the gallon, and this was not even water they was talking about, if cars could run solely on water then it would be done already. a car will never ever solely be able to run on water alone, there will but either electric or some type of cheaper fuel as an alternate to gas. even so, it does no one any good seeing everytime they see what you are selling and still end up at a gas station with a high gas bill, sorta moot at that point.
dscurlock - that's not true. GM has already built a car that runs entirely on water - although it is not ready for mass product yet - they are hoping to have it ready within a few years.
ok, fine, lets say its true...fine, runs on water...if they can do this, why does it have to take years for production? and there is always a balance change when something happens...how much is this water vehicle going to cost? 20 times the price of a gas car? You can alway see a shift in balance with the ever rising gas prices...as less gas dependent cars come out, so gas prices soar even more, of couse just about anything can cause a gas jump these days... Even these new cola trucks, they are not running on water..why not? yes, they are running on a new clean fuel type, thats all I see...good for cola, does nothing for me.... if it is too good to be true then maybe it isnt true...I know we never want to pay gas again, but do you think that is realistic? We need water cars now, not in a few years, and what is a few years? 20-30-50? by then most of us maybe long gone.... and someone already came out with the engine without gas many, many ions ago, and the gas company offered him a few thousand, if that, and bought the blueprints from him...he sold out for mere pennies so the oil giants could continue to profit over the last 100 years. This one guy could have changed the history of gas, no doubt he was hungry, and took what the oil company offered... if he were alive today, he would never had made that decision to sell out...
this is just going around in circles >>>>>>>>>>>> http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=905818 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<
