*Poker Site For Sale*

Up for sale is a site specific "poker bonus" site that we have been neglecting to pursue other "major" site developments.

Site promotes www.chanpoker.com which is part of the popular ongame network - currently battling with partypoker for the third biggest spot in the poker world behind full tilt and poker stars.

The site for sale is wxwxw. chanxxxxxxxxxxxxbonus.com (remove the x's).

Ranks first in google for the term "chan bonus" and third or so last time I checked for "chan poker bonus" which should lead to some good conversions for players seeking out the bonus.

As a side note, Johnny Chan is still in contention at the World Series Of Poker and if he were to have a big finish it would BLOW UP the site.

I need funds to pursue another project, site is a PR1 and two years old. Due to our improved content (it was much much worse a year ago) we expect it to jump to a PR2 or PR3 at the next update (any day now) but I apologize to say I have zero stats for it in terms of traffic and revenue.

Two reasons for this, 1 I never put analytics on it (busy on major sites like the one in my sig) and 2. I was using the wrong tracking code most of this time and likely sent a TON of players under the wrong code!

Due to the fact that the content is underdeveloped and the site is not optimized for conversions (that's the buyers job, it WILL convert if you spruce up the content) I will start the bidding at $500 and am looking for a BIN of $1,500 with the auction ending monday night or when a BIN offer is negotiated.

seems a very nice site, but even that you told you don´t have revenue stats or traffic can you estimate them or check awstats?

do you have other poker sites to sell?

 

Heh, I never thought to look into the host.

We have had this site on this host since May after moving it so I can provide stats from May on.

Has the site generated any depositing players yet?

 

Thats the problem, I have/had the wrong tracking tag up this whole time - so I would assume it generating players considering the 700-1000 monthly uniques are most likely targeted traffic from google and other search engines (I've promoted it nowhere, ever).

On the flip side, it may not have converted any players since there is no real call to action on the index page, it's just like I said an incomplete site.

But, it's aged (2 years) and will probably jump in PR next update (soon) and ranks #1 and #3 in google for its targeted terms - plus the first two pages for a lot of other Johnny Chan related terms.

BIN for today is $1,250 - I'm considering just selling link space on it if it doesn't sell soon as I'm way to busy with "bigger" sites to try and promote this.

 

Highest Bid via PM is $130 - it won't sell for that low.

 

This is a BIN of $1,000 for 24 hours only and then I take it off the market and let is age another year to see if I get motivated enough to do something with it.

I guess this is off the market, suprising nobody saw the value in an aged, top ranking site that just needed an optimized index page for conversions.
