I am assuming it is, being you are just doing the marketing, but is it legal to accept payment while doing affiliate marketing for online casino's? Anyone have any info on this?
It should be? I'm not too sure though, but I know some poker sites are accepting US players again, so I don't see why not?
I got the impression that online gambling is still illegal in most states of the US. You might want to check with your chamber of commerce for this.
hmm... marketing a gambling site is still completely ILLEGAL in the USA.. Unless your marketing points to their .net site you're in for some fines... PokerStars has pokerstars.com for real money gambling... however, they promote and market pokerstars.net as a way to sit down with the stars and learn poker for free... you're not gambling real money.. and no physical monetary loss is incurred. So its legal.. since they're only promoting a learning environment..
this is some things you need to answer: where is your server is located - Some countries its illegal how u will monitor these activities - Under 18 Kids ect.. where you are located - Again same as above how old you are - You cant be 14 and try to run this -_- you can face legal troubles ect..
It's a bit of a legal mishmash, I'm afraid. It is legal to be an affiliate for online casinos and poker rooms, even if those sites aren't 100% legit. The services you provide them are not illegal in the US or anywhere else. The problem is that affiliating for casinos and poker rooms that still operate in the US is dangerous simply because those operations themselves aren't exactly playing by the rules and are more likely the type of people to screw you over.
Yes it is still legal to advertise online casinos and online gambling the only problem is with the money transactions many American affiliates are still advertising even illegal us accepting players online casinos don't be worried they cannot be touched
It all depends on your country/state. Have a look at your laws and read up on this matter with care. You don't want any future legal battles.
It's pretty easy to incorporate in the Carribean using a serviced office and marketing to the European/Asian market if you really want to get involved. These are huge markets by themselves anyway. The US government is completely unrealistic in exercising their control over the US gambling and travel to Cuba market in my opinion.
do you have any idea what the tax-rate is there? i've been paying upwards of 45% of my income to my bastard government and am tired of it. i'm looking to incorporate outside the country and take a very low salary which will put me into a reasonable threshhold.
