Is landing page without much text content ok with adword quality score for landing pages?

I've been doing lot of research, and it seems like affiliate landing pages should be made in a sales letter kinda fashion:confused:

What aspect of landing pages is most important to drive sales?

I have problems with my affiliate marketing. My company has LOTS of websites (1800+) and has the ability to create more and more with its CMS. However, yes, it's all shitty websites that are only good for search arb. Which makes me big headache on monetizing these sites with affiliate marketing. I need to do something totally different.

And How do I create custom affiliate landing pages ( on one’s own server) instead of having to redirect to the merchants landing page?

Last but not the least, is creating a landing page with the only content from CJ merchant's content link enough for PPC? (maybe I should ask this in CJ section, but..)

    Thx

    Please shed some light

Well to me I don't think it matters on a landing page the text content but just really the keywords you use.
I searched and found great keyword combinations that where bringing in 10-40 uniques daily.
So i would focus on SEO of the landing page instead of real content...

I don't have design skills myself. But there're designers in the company. However, I need to tell them what should the landing page be look like and come up with at least some mock up.. And the thing is i don't know what kinda of landing page should it be like. Should these landing page be just single landing page or they should belong to a main websites since will bear the header and footer, etc

Can you and anyone else have a look at www.freetopreviews.com? it is a very simple site, but it can all be changed. I have many resources but don't know the right direction.

My advice is use rentacoder and just pay the $40 for a landing page. There are some people who do really good work. The better the landing page the more opt ins youll get.

Pay attention to the design and layout of your landing page. The content of your landing page should be concise, brief and engaging, and also think of some creative headline for your content as it is most likely the first line a user reads. Avoid placing external links on your landing page to prevent users leaving your site. And the last one call users for some action on your landing page.
