I need fluent translators in all languages for site translation.

I need translators for my website -- in every language. If you know a second language and have a website that you would like promoted, can you please let me know here?

If you will translate my website, I will give you prominent advertising privileges on the language version of my site. The English version has already created 50,000 links -- and I see no reason why the language versions wouldn't do just as well.

I have even created a translation console for every language, so it wont be hard. All you have to do is log in (I will give you a username and password) and everything is in text boxes. The English text is shown right next to where you place the language text. So it's all very easy.

There is a fair bit of text though. I need to warn you of that. However, in return you will have a LOT of traffic, permanently -- for as long as you wish to be the translator for the language version of my site.

You can see the languages in the header of: http://www.zeriouz.com

If your language is not listed, but you wish to translate -- just let me know and I will add your language. I am only starting with 17 of the most popular languages, but eventually I will have every language in the world.

Cool thanks... I will contact you both very soon, as well as anyone else who responds. Yes I will add Filipino.

*Also, if someone who can translate German comes here, the German one is partially done -- but it is probably very bad. I need a German translator lol. Don't laugh at my translation.

I will just let this thread simmer for a bit until I have more responses, and then I'll contact everyone at once. ok?

I'm fluent in Malay which is quite similar to Indonesian, although with a little bit differences here and there. May I have a little sneak preview at what type of text are you looking to be translated?

Ok, where's what I will do. I will quickly go and create an example translation page (with the form function disabled) so that everyone can see what they're in for. Please note that I have yet to do some work on this translation panel at this time, but it is mostly done... brb

    Edit:

    Ok, here it is :)

    http://www.zeriouz.com/languages/gobbledygook/index.php

It is disabled for demo purposes.

Thanks everyone, I am taking note.

I used to create websites in different languages for a software company, which I no longer work for -- but for that company they had Traditional and Big5. I know how to get the pages working in different languages. All I have to do is detect the language folder and include a new charset for that page (that's no biggy), but I am really unsure as to which version of Chinese to use. May I ask, don't most chinese speak Mandarin? Is that different to Traditional and Big5? Please let me know your opinion on how I should go about it. Or, should I have both?

Nice to hear a feedback from you here, MrLeN.

Well, there are slightly different of the word structure between the Traditional and Simplified Chinese...

Plus, there are over 1.35 billion of Chinese that using the Simplified Chinese versus 5 million Traditional Chinese users in daily life...

Hope I answered your doubt here :)

Ok mate, well then maybe I will use traditional Chinese?

Also, just an update for everyone in this thread -- in my original post I did not mention anything about money, because -- well, frankly I can't afford to pay 17+ people for translation services. However, here's something that I have been thinking today..

I obviously cannot run all these site sections in different languages. Even if I did have the time, I can't communicate with people in all those languages. Therefore, I am going to need ongoing help from each translator with the website -- and I will take this into account before accepting help from anyone.

However, I am advertising on each and every language version of the website (via PayPal). So what I can do is split the advertising revenue with each translator/moderator, up to $xxxx.xx (which I'll work out) per month.

So basically, each month I will work out how much advertising has been sold on each language site. What ever that amount is, I will give you half. I believe this is reasonably fair considering that once you've translated the website there will be very little else for you to do. Maybe just hang out on the forums and make sure that the language customers understand how things work etc? Moderate the language forums and communicate to me what the people of your language are saying/thinking?

Also, this is an incentive for you to make sure that the language section runs properly. If you're getting half the money.. then there's a good reason for you to put in that extra effort.

..and one last thing -- just an update on the language websites. Currently I am coding the moderation list for each language website and I am creating an interface to detect which country the person viewing the site is in, and they will see websites from their own country appear in the moderation list.

As you can probably imagine this is quite the task -- but it's all 90% done, I just like to make sure things are done properly before I upload them. I am not far away from getting started with translations. I am not ignoring you all. I am watching the thread and happy to see each response. Just as soon as I am ready, I'll come straight back to this thread and also look at the PM's I've received and I will contact each person asking them if they are happy with what I've offered and whether or not they can help out on an ongoing basis.

zeriouz is going to be a massive site and a massive project, and it's going to make money -- even though it's free, because there's always people willing to advertise on popular websites -- and zeriouz is becoming popular very fast. Once it's in every language too.. I can envision millions of visitors to that website.
