Had been having problems with my Dell notebook. They sent a tech out, he burned my battery out. Dell would not do anything, claiming battery was not warrantied, even though the tech did it! Well I complained up to the corporate office, Dell sent me not just a new battery but an entire notebook! An XPS with pretty much every option imaginable. 2.5ghz dual core cpu with 6 megs cache, 256 meg vid, the best display, 4 gigs ram, 7200 rpm sata drive, blueray disk and much more. This system is much, much more powerful than my old one! Currently very happy
i had dell, burned after 2 month use, dell is the biggest shit in laptop world dell, pm me for delivery address thanks
I wouldn't say that, I have another identical one as the one I had problems with that has had no problems. The one I had problems with was some physical damage they were fixing, I had the warranty that covered that As far as the new one, the build sheet claims over 5K, I doubt that price though, but it's pretty pricey..
Glad to hear dell made good on the tech burning out your laptop. The costumer service people aren't going to do anything for you. They are told to just keep on repeating that they are sorry.
Great...you got a whole new laptop just because the battery of the old one was burned...now that's GREAT customer service on dell's side
To an extent, if I had a choice I'd of rather of not gone through the head ache. 'but' at least I got a nice upgrade
Bitching can get you lots of things in life. People just dont want to deal with it so they just let it go and complain to them selves. Nothing like a good comp out.
I think that for every happy story about Dell customer service there are 50 bad stories. After the problems that I went through trying to deal with Dell's customer service department I swore to never again buy another one of their products. And from what I have heard, I'm not the only person to have been burned by Dell and never spending another cent on them again.
I don't find it being a 'Dell' unfortunate at all. Out of all the laptops I've owned I must say I prefer my Dells..
