Hi guys Just wanted to share this nice thing. Adding an RSS feed to your module keeps the search engine "spiders" coming back to your page over and over again. This is because an RSS feed keeps the content FRESH. So, adding an RSS feed module to the bottom of your lens can really help with your search engine rankings. Thanks.
Skip your site? No. They'll still index it like normal. However, if another website becomes a better authority on the subject of your RSS feed than your site is, you could find the other site ranking higher than yours with your information. Think of newspapers. If you search for the latest AP story headline, you'll find numerous sources: CNN, MSN, Yahoo, Washington Post, etc, even though each of them is printing the same story verbatim. What you may not see is the actual AP news site showing up first. For example, InBev is buying Anhheuser-Busch for $52B. Its the top headline on AP's site. However, if you Google that exact article title, the first result is Yahoo! News. Google considers Yahoo! to be the best source for that story, even though it's AP's content. http://www.google.com/search?source...=Anheuser-Busch+being+sold+to+InBev+for+$52B+
