    He had a kid and decided to take his own life. I wouldn't be so quick to place him on a pedestal.

    Not So Fast! Read This Please!

    After a thorough investigation, it was found that Heath Ledger, who died on January 22, 2008, died of an accidental drug overdose. The drugs that he took were addictive perscription medications.

    They included:

    * Oxycodone for pain
    * Hydrocodone - the pain reliever found in Vicodin
    * Valium (diazepam)
    * Temazepam for anxiety or sleeplessness
    * Xanax (alprazolam)
    * Doxylamine - a sedating antihistamine

    At The Oscars.

    It Is Possible That It Is Not The Truth But Then Maybe It Is!?

    Whatever The Case May Be, I Think He Was A Great Actor And Will Be Sadly Missed! D.

    No doubt he was a good actor (something tells me you like more then his acting) but he had a lot more acting still to do.

    He was a great actor, and nice to look at too... :D What more can you ask? Okay, being a good dad, husband, and living a clean, healthy lifestyle is just too much to ask out of anyone in Hollywood... :rolleyes:

    I enjoyed everything I saw Heath Ledger in, and I hope that his performance as the Joker in The Dark Knight is as good as all of the critics are claiming. Several critics are already saying that he should get a posthumous Oscar for his role as the Joker. It's sad that he died and left his family behind, and I hope that he is remembered more for his talent than his untimely demise.
