Not displaying the correct ads

I hope this is the right forum to post this in, but if not please move it. Well, I just made a blog about two days ago. The adsense ads do not seem to have anything to do with my site. I figured they would have changed by now. The url is http://techtastic.org . I looked through some files for any keyword areas, but this is the only thing I found, which was found in the header file:

    Just insert <META name="keywords" content="keywords1, keywords2, keywords3,">
that would help the SE bots understand your site better and present more relevant ads.

Yes, but where? I just inserted it into the header coding I showed in the first post. I'll wait a little and see if it updates

Just insert it right where I show you above. Replace keyword1 with your own site keyword, keyword2 and so on....Hope that helps.

I think you are pretty new to this whole thing. You just don't seem to understand the following important things.

    • Google Index: Your site is barely index in google. Just 04 pages is not enough. Allow google time to index your pages well. It is not even a good idea to place codes before your site is fully indexed.
    • Backlinks: You don't seem to have any backlinks. In this case you can not expect google bots to visit your site often and deliver ads.
    • Content: Just 04 blog posts are not enough to deliver you relevent ads. You need to have many blog posts related to your targeted niche in order to attract relevent ads.
    • Age of site: Your site is just 02 days old.:D
    Hope above tips help. :)

Maldvies, I don't think you understand what I am doing. I just want my ads to be relevant right now, as far as all of the other things, well I will worry about that at a later date. My site is not even "public" right now. I have not promoted at all. I want my ads to be correct, and I have to do some of the other things you mentioned to do so.

Celtik, you could use All in One SEO Pack for WP, it has everything you need for keyword and description

You could also use Google section targeting to help Google understands what you page is all about

    Hey Celtik,

Maldives makes some valid points in order for the right ads to be displayed on your site. The age of your site, number of pages indexed and how well your pages are optimized for KWs are all taken into account by Google.

The All-In-SEO-Plugin is a great tool to ensure your pages are optimized. I use it on all of my WP sites.

    Good luck!

The points I noted above plays a major role in deciding what ads are served in your site. No. of content pages, the type of content, age of the content, location or (demographics), are some of the factors google considers when deciding what ads are served.

I see lot of PSA on your site for now just because google bot does not visit your site often-enough or you don't have sufficient content there.
