target people looking for exactly what you have to offer. eg. keywords: "buy productname", "order productname"
Quality of traffic is your problem. It doesn't matter what's the number of hops is. What matters is where these hops are coming from.
You don't make money selling bodybuilding equipment to grandmothers. That's UNtargeted. If someone is looking for bodybuilding equipment, ie bodybuilders, and you offer it to them, that's targeted.
looks like you are still making sales, so you are doing something right aslong as you didnt pay for all them clicks you are still coming out on top.
Maybe it's not a vary good product and that your customers find from clicking what they see on the advert/link to reading what's on the landing page misleading so most of them are just clicking the X on the window.
Maybe it's the traffic, it's untargeted, or you have a unsuitable affiliate product. I mean IF you write 'Download free porn' and then put your affiliate link to a run your car on water page, you're gonna have a lot of useless hops, and noone is gonna buy anything
like everyone else is saying possibilities are that your traffic is not targeted enough. what is your site about and what are you promoting and to whom. one the other hand if you did not pay for this traffic or got it at a cheap cheap price then it's a good start... i believe you got 7 sales. how many days is this report based on? not bad.. now learn how to filter your traffic and you can triple those numbers...
I think the problem is targeting, although it's hard to say without seeing your site. I saw somewhere they're offering contextual clickbank ads, I think the site is called ClickBankAds or something like that. They look a little bit like Adsense. See for instance freearticlecentral dot com (on the right sidebar) to see what they look like. You'll notice they're a bit slow in loading. hope that helps.

If the traffic is organic, maybe you're not targetting those long tail keywords? eg. how to get rid of _____, _____ cure, etc. I've tried marketing to _________ without the "how to get rid of", etc. and while it does get me sales, it takes alot more hops compared to long tails, and that just might be the case for you too.
Without a doubt it's untargeted traffic, probably buy 10,000 visitors type of traffic which is rubbish. That's what your problem is. Look on the bright side, you still made a decent amount of cash!
