    Through

    Article Submissions
    Directory Submissions

    I use the www.tnx.net/google-pr.php

    to know how many links I still need .. You can calculate it from there

    Looking to get it before the next PR Update

    Are you crazy ... you need really many links or pr8.
    It isn't possible in one pr update time

    I "CAN" reach PR6 .. But NOT PR8

    I want a combination .. of Article Submissions+Directory Submissions

    and YA.. It IS crazy, Oh, Oh My God.. I just found out that I'm CRAZY too !! :p

    you will get it with time but not in single update, its not impossible for well established sites but for new ones it is so think about pr 3-4 in next up gradation.

    You need 2.8 million PR1 links to get to PR8 according to TNX. Say you get a 90% success rate with directory submissions, thats 3.1 million directories. Let's ignore the fact that there's only 1.3 million directories when you search for free directories on Google for now and say that I charge $10 per 1000 directories (I don't, so no one PM me about it)... I want my $31,000 before starting please.

    In all seriousness, I highly doubt you will get PR8 from Article/Directory submissions alone. When building links, always think quality over quantity. If you have the budget ($31k is a lot ;)), I would suggest you go buy some high PR links instead of paying for 3.1 million low PR links. Why get PR8 anyway?

    Getting your site to pr8 is easy, simply go get links on 2 pr10 links, or 4 pr9's or 19 pr8's or 101 pr7's.

    If you have around budget $15K it is possible to get a PR7 in 2 updates however nothing is guaranteed. Try to build many small backlinks via directory submission first around 10K includes range PR0-PR4. Then buy backlinks targeted to your website for PR5-PR7. Build unique content and a great useful website on your domain. Promote and SEO it for traffic. Then stayback and hope you have spent good money for a PR7. PR8 is almost impossible but nothing is impossible actually which is why I say almost. Goodluck. :)
