Site Unverified.

My site is up from the last almost one and half years and was verified ealier as i have put the verification code in the meta tags but suddenly google saying that my site is not verified( the code still there ) whay this happens ? and what is the solution for this ?

 

Did you change your site ? Do you have a reason why it is not verified ?

Maybe try to verify via an html file ?

 

No i have not changed the site . it is one and half years old.

 

i have a similar problem.. suddenly google webmaster tools told me that my title tag is very short.

 

I had to do this to a site that was verified recently.
the meta tag was still in place, I just selected verify again and everything worked like it should..

Have you tried that?

Agreed. I had similar problems with one of my site. After initial verification, there was no problem. After some months, google suddenly flashed "Site not verified". I didn't do anything. I simply pressed the verify my site button again and the problem was solved....
Google suffers from selective amnesia?

Seriously, i even experienced "missing title tag" .. .and all of sudden the error gone with the wind. heck...

 

Yes had verified many times...but still google asks me to verify
