Will Building up links to my site in reverent pages help my PR. I'm not trying to spam wiki but put my site in a reverent spot net to other out going links.

Wiki links are NoFollow. So PR can't be increased using wiki links.
Find another link building solution that includes DoFollow links ;)

you should try dofollow social media submissions. they're awesome!

agreed with zexy and paul. wiki links are sometimes good for traffic but not for backlinks or PR boost. wikipedia is no follow and there are lot of other wiki sites that are nofollow as well. but if you find any do follow wiki, then feel free to add on.

as paul said, SB submissions are good for link building but make sure they are do follow as well. there are so many social media sites that are going nofollow these days but there are plenty of them that are still dofolow

you can either use firefox plugin or view page source and search for the term "nofollow." if you find that there is a nofollow attribute to any comment link, then that site is nofollow and wont do you any good for backlinks
