how much money will you generally make selling a 30 to 40 dollar ebook on clickbank. assuming its decent and prob will not have many refunds.
My guess is the publisher makes about $500 a day based on the 92 gravity and the price + commission % + rebills. Front end anyway - I don't know anything about the product, maybe he's killing it with links to other products or upsells in the back end. I think products sold in the IM market have sort of artificially inflated gravity (as so many people buy with their own link) ---- that's something to consider.
thanks, im new on here and have tons of questions. How important are the graphics on the salespage? Im nearly finished with my ebook and Im considering dishing out the hefty price over at pulpminisites.com ... I like their graphics
There's your answer. And you can't put "generally" and "blogging to the bank" in the same sentence... the amount Rob makes from that isn't even close to what the average clickbank publisher makes, as that was a mega launch.
lemonarian I don't know what kind of "mega launch" Rob did, but I don't think it was bigger than Google Nemesis
just looking for a ballpark answer guys. I know there are tons of variables that determine the income
Lots of JVs... lol. If you get your gravity high, the affiliates will come, and it just snowballs from there. I think there's a script called CB centrifuge that rotates affiliate IDs for every time the page is loaded from the domain itself, so you get your gravity up for every sale you make personally... Other than that, getting JVs to promote you is the big secret, just contact people and ask them. And Black, of course it wasn't bigger than Nemesis... but it was big, and it's still selling consistently with a 90+ gravity.
Hey OP - welcome to the CB world - it's a rollercoaster mate. Selling a product depends on the following: Your price: Your commission amount (Not % - even 75% of $30-$40 is not a lot - not enough to attract heavy hitters). Your list(s) Your deliverables and conversion rate Your affiliate recruitment Your Niche Your own marketing skills on top of your affs Your amount of products in your portfolio You will not get a straight answer mate - I have projects that have generated over 100K in transactions so far and some that have been on the market for 4-6 months and haven't made 1K yet... It's like asking How much can I make gambling? What does a pro make at the casino? What's the average IM'er income? How much does a software package make? How much can a job pay in computers? Chances are if you are asking this type of question, you are not ready to become a publisher just yet (not being mean = seriously). Who knows you just might be the next one hit wonder but becoming a skilled publisher is not done with one product on your first shot if you aren't even sure of potentials or averages. To be sharp - you should do your diligence to sell at least xxx products in at least 5-10 niches to really understand marketing and the different scenarios that are presented at CB before thinking of becoming a pub. A direct answer is still $0-$1,000,000 in a year, the rest is a shmorgus board of success and failure. NC.
I guess that depends on how many affiliates you have and how well your product is converting. I am not a publisher, but promote CB products and if I can't convert them I drop them and find a new product.
I was thinking about using this except I wanted to clarify one thing... Does it override a hop that's already in? Or does it only do this when there's not already a hop? Because that sort of seems like if it just does it every time someone goes directly to the site that it would be stealing from affiliates? For example say someone is promoting my product and they get the hop cookie onto the visitors computer... but they don't buy - but then the next day they go back straight to the website and they do buy - would this script override their cookie? If so that's clearly a deal breaker... In fact it would be a deal breaker for me as an affiliate to not work with anyone using that script. Dig what I'm saying? Alright.. so does it do that or not? hah. Damn, I got myself a long way of asking a question.
