GetaCent: Deserves getting banned from Adsense

just giving people 1 cent to come to his site.
Thats something like paid traffic. Worse than 'Made For Adsense' pages. It doesnt add a bit of value to adsense network. I have seen people starting to hate Ads. Here is his thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=927293

Anyways, if the guy has like 4% CTR, he will make a lot. But i think he is gonna be banned from Adsense soon and will not get paid.
There are people who would think that for getting paid, they would have to visit the ads as people are used to in Pay Per Click networks. Maybe this guy is a man who earlier ran an email based Pay per click network..

 

If he gets banned he gets banned.. if not then if not.. His loss not yours.

 

Doesnt it matter to you if anything wrong is going on in your surroundings?

And what's up with the 'email based pay per click network?' This is the first time I've ever even used Adsense.

Anyway, the ads are gone. Does it make you happy? Hope it does, because I'm still going to continue with the site, and even though I'll be funding it all by myself, it's probably a better idea then you could ever have

 

I think the reason why some people would care is because they believe sites like this contribute to giving Adsense a bad name and ruin the Adwords Content Network.

Cameron even i feel adsense is not safe for that page, you could use cpm.

 

I do the same... it's for personal protection, know you. someone might sabotage your account if you are not good to everyone.. ... let the gones be by gones..

 

I am not jealous of Cameron. I may have actually saved him from getting his adsense banned.

Running such a free cent site isnt something quite complex. You can get such a site working in 15 minutes. Everyone can. But it really is something which reduces Real Leads and Sales for Advertisers.

If cameron had not removed Adsense from his site, i am sure he would have been banned.
In this kind of 'business' you know the email address of the persons you give free money and you can always ask them to click a few ads in exchange for more money. Thats something very possible in this kind of 'business' Thats how this site could become a Pay Per Click Portal.

 

I just dont like people exploiting the Adsense network in a wrong way.

Though i did not intend to help him or 'save' him, i may have done so unintentionally as he removed the Adsense from his PPC site.

What you are talking about is an illegal thing of which only 4 or 5 people have knowledge. But in this case, its a whole website which can be seen by anyone in the world.
