I've been working as level 3 Technical Support for Verizon DSL and I have mastered it's technology over the years. I am planning to create a blog about Verizon High Speed Internet Troubleshooting and workaround. Do you think this is a unique and very good niche considering its specialized category? It will include configuration of modems, routers, LAN/WAN, wireless connections, and even specific PC hardware and software.... Your comment please... Thanks
I can't specify but all will be related to modem, router, wireless, LAN, WAN, network adapters, ethernet, OS, etc...
Yes, it is a great idea due to the huge amount of affiliate offers available for DSL services and there probably isn't a ton of competition for the keywords you would target. Just make sure you don't rely on AdSense as your sole advertiser. There are many affiliate offers that pay out a nice amount of money for new subscribers.
I am thinking of doing it first in blogger then migrating to wordpress later on... adsense is my primary target..
I will not reveal it to public until I fill it with content... and it will be on wordpress when I start promotion...
Just before that you need to search around to see if the idea has already been implemented. If there's not, I think you will have a great success with it. Good luck!
I have searched this for a week now... and even if there is, still minimal... it is easy to say how to do it but no one will dare to do it I think.. especially if you don't have knowledge on this field...
I am far from an expert...if Adsense dollars earned were a way to measure, I am still only in the $800 range (total). So with that said... I am a computer programmer who works on websites. I have thought many times about creating a site targeted towards programming. I could put 10 years of experience into it, and come up with something good. But I know that 99.99% of web-based computer programmers would never click on an Adsense ad. I know that I *rarely* click on ads, so *I* (and people like me) would be a horrible target market. So I would target computer neophytes. People like my mom. My mom would click on ads all day long, not realizing that they were ads. She would be an awesome visitor to any website. But my mom would never configure a router.
It sounds like a really good idea to me. It is certainly specialized but Verizon probably has millions of customers and you may get other traffic from people interested in troubleshooting high speed internet, wireless, etc. in general and not even specifically with Verizon. I don't have Verizon but I know when I have a problem with internet access or a modem or router I usuallly go online to find a solution before I try to call customer support. If I were you I would go for it
Verizon has more or less 5million customers for DSL alone... This will be my biggest project while I'm on leave next week..
I think it's time to share now http://verizon.myseoblog.net and review my ad placement in single post please. Thanks
awesome idea, whether the niche is high paying or (your niche is really high paying anyway) but blogging about what you are good at is always the best and the most high paying idea you can ever have.... so go for it... The ad placement is ok in the single post so far, but I will tell you to still experiment with it if you dont know already
