I am getting USD 0.3-0.5 per click. But, my CTR is too low. In June, it is less than 1 %. Anyone here can tell me what i suppose to do? The URL is in my signature. Thank you.

1% CTR sounds very low to me. Your ad placement is not that bad.

Just yesterday I checked what ads my site was showing and blocked those which surely won't interest my visitors. Maybe that's one thing to try. I mean with AdSense's Competitive Ad Filter.

    Good luck!

Your ad placement is pretty good. Blending is good 2. It wouldn't hurt to try an ad unit at the end of each post and a link unit in the header.

To have a ctr that low with what you have set up, your traffic source must be really bad. You getting all your traffic from social sites??

There are many threads here on DP about different ways to increase traffic (free and paid). You can use the DP "Search" window.

You may want to head on over to the "seo" section and start reading like a maniac.

Organic traffic (from search engines) will always yield a much higher ctr than traffic from social sites (like Digg and Stumble). Most social traffic just doesn't click ads period. They are savvy internet users that avoid ads like the plague, and they will just bounce onto your site for 5 seconds and go on to the next one. With organic traffic, they actually had to put some effort into finding your site. Organic traffic is looking for help/ info/ products. they are much more likely to click your ads that give them what they are looking for.

You should seriously spend at least a few hours in the seo section just reading. Then start asking questions. After a few weeks you will know enough about the basics to give it a try,

    Good luck!!

    :)

Yeah, as glenndorsey said the traffic from social media doesn't convert well. So try to get traffic from search engines. DP is full of good tips and guides for that :)

Add one more skyware at your site bar. Besides that, try to optimize your SERP to get more natural traffic

As the others have said learn all you can about search engine optimization. Once you start getting search engine traffic, that pitiful CTR will climb on its own.
