Are Chinese users more likely to try to cheat?

    I sold an eBay item to a Chinese user a while ago and I transferred the domain, but it seems he has not accepted the transfer. Now he has opened a dispute with PayPal claiming that I haven't transferred the domain!

    What can I do?? I took a screenshot of the domain status page in GoDaddy, but I don't know if that will be enough!

    1 bad experence with a Chinese user and now all Chinese people are cheaters? wow next time I'm getting a Chinese I'm gonna count my change! :p

    Well, I have heard a lot of things about users from China. Most PTC and eBay cheaters are said to be in China, so it is best to avoid it all at once

    Isn't it the same thing with Nigerians? A small percentage of people from Nigeria try to scam people online and now no one with do any business online with anyone from Nigeria since they think they are all scammers.

    If the person hasnt accepted the transfer then how could they be cheating you? You still have the domain, right?

    My guess is that it is an honest misunderstanding. Perhaps the buyer doesnt know how to accept the transfer. Have you tried communicating with them about it? Try to get into contact directly and ask what the problem is. You may go to your domain account and either cancel the transfer (and refund the money) or you may resend the transfer initiation email.

    Also, I think it is a bad move to assume anything just because he is Chinese. There are honest and dishonest people in every culture and nation. As I said, since he hasnt accepted the transfer I dont see how he could be cheating you. He may feel that he has been cheated because he made payment and didnt get the domain (even if it was his own misunderstanding or lack of knowledge which caused it)

    OH - and why is this in "Affiliate Programs" section?

    First I seen those accusing Indians, now Chinese. I would say that every race and every nation have their fair share of bad hats. Hopefully we will not go into racial discrimination.

    HAHAHA I THINK SO.... HEY if i buy 10 chinese folk and put them to work at $10 an hour 14 hrz a day....hhhmmmm maybe ill make more then my sit eis making me THANKS FOR THE GREAT IDEA hahaha

    I'm not being racist... my mother is Filipino and my father is African-American. I don't discriminate, especially since I'm a mix of crazy stuff. I've just heard that to be safe, I shouldn't deal with Chinese users who don't speak English

    Why don't you secure yourself next time with a domain escrow.. its simplier knowing that the money will transfer as well as the domain as agreed upon.

    Chinese guys are cheaters and we can't do anything there ! They are cheating all PTC pages and products over the net, and that is why they are BANNED from ALL PTC sites ! Do you think it's only because of a few peoples ? No - it's because of mass cheating !

    I would beg to differ on this. Scammers are race blind. Also any evidence that they are banned from all PTC sites?
