AdSense banned my account at $170 : Warez Related or Invalid Clicks?

Hi people, im more of a lurker here though I have recently had my Google Adsense account banned for reasons that almighty Google refuse to tell me about.

Seems Google are the opposite to women, all action, no talk ;)

However, this is no laughing matter. My account was banned at just over $170!! And with a speeding ticket on its way...I coulda used that cash!!

Now, this may be plainly obvious to most people though I just want to get this black and white.

The site I recently added AdSense too was a site that was very closely related to nulled scripts.

These are retail scripts, that are usually decoded (removing any pieces of code that notify the company of its unauthorised use) thus making them in a way, warez.

This is why it gets tricky for me. I noticed in my stats about a month ago that one day, I have a shedload of hits, though it just didnt look right for the amount of uniques I had, however...my AdSense account didnt really reflect this either, as income was still around $25 per day...though I seem to remember it was about $31 that day, though it kinda averages around that mark.

It just makes me wonder as to the most likely reason my account was banned, either because my site is partially related to warez (im saying partially as its not like im ripping movies/games off) or because someone has been using click bots to get my AdSense account banned.

Please dont say "Ha...I told you so" or any other smart comments, just straight up useful answers please.

    Thanks

how about your highest CTR? perhaps it is too high

if it is normal, then it is very likely your content is the cause.....

but don't worry adsense is not everything, you seems to have sizeable traffic.....

keep maintain and develop your site....there are still many opportunities, even you may need 2-3 programs to match google earning.....

anyone can suggest what they are?

I think you will know the answer better than any of us here, what you listed down can surely get you ban, either or both.

I think your right you know...I think there could have been a small amount of invalid clicking...enough to make them take a look and then they realised my site was partially warez related perhaps.

So, with adsense out of the question, what would be the best alternative/alternatives?

    The problems I face are:
My userbase is, like this forum, webmaster related. Even though some of my users are more newbish than some found on DP, it would still make my site in there eyes much less trustworthy/respectable if I start having popups and inline text ads with those flashy popups on certain words that really annoys you.

With it being a partial warez site I find that most other advertisement networks dont even take a second look, no matter what traffic your getting.

The thing I liked about AdSense was that even though my users are most likely 70% adblind, being webmasters/net addicts themselves, that the links adsense generated were usefull enough to be clicked on a fair amount anyway.

Any ideas as to a decent alternative(s) would be much appreciated!

    Thanks

The closest alternative I could think of is Adbrite especially the inline adverts may help you convert even better, who knows. Maybe you would want to give it a try? Another is widgetbucks, but I don't really like the looks of their adverts, extremely protruding out of your web site.

Exactly what I was going to mention.

kjbweb, you can PM me if you want some serious advice on how to monetize your site that you won't get banned and lose money.

AS you could read in the google TOS.It''s not allowed to use adsense on a site that contains warez or decoded software. This is piracy and very illegal.

But like others said there are many alternatives.

    See adbrite,adengage,textadlinks or even Kontera

    They all accept warez sites.
Try them out and look which one suits you best.

Once Google disables one publisher's account, its really difficult to get it back. From my experience, they dont really disables without a good reason. Also, you could try to file in an appeal against your ban. But, less than 1% to get it back.
