A polling site that asks allows members to ask questions and people to select answers based on the answers provided. The goal is to get the member base to grow.
Contextual advertising, perhaps. Ads related to the topic of the questions. Try Google Adwords or NeverBlueAds.
I'd definitely use Adwords. In my opinion it is the best option to deliver targeted visitors quickly.
It's not a specific niche it can be a question about anything. What else would you reccomend besides AdWords, anything creative?
Use articles....making it general in nature and make it sound as if it would be fun to participate in.
So article marketing in terms of writing different articles about different debatable topics and sending people to a polling page.... any other ideas?
I would not suggest paying for marketing this, until you have a solid earning from it. Try the free advertising routes first e.g. forums posts, blog comments etc etc. A contest could also help getting you returning visitors. If you don't have membership on the site, you may wanna do that. Use email campaigns to stay in touch with existing users.
If you can set up any polls that would have relevance for Facebook users, hire someone to program a Facebook app and market it that way. If you can go viral with it, you'll get tons of traffic. (Heck, allowing users to create their own polls might even be the way to go -- I know there are some apps that do that, but I'm sure there is still a large untapped market there.) -Erica
The site does allow users to make their own polls. It is decent sized. I can spend some money on marketing campaigns I just need the idea to be something decent. Lets say something aside from PPC as PPC is already being done. I need something creative to drive a lot of traffic and hopefully register.
