I am based in US, and thinking if I can set up affiliate membership in each of the amazon sites in UK,Canada, etc.
I tested opening a new account with Amazon UK. It allows to open with my US address.
I am confused because amazon uk seels in GBP, while my address is in US. How will amazon make me a payment and in what currency? And how will I have to manage tax at end of year?

This is something you'd want to review with your tax professional, but I've heard this particular question several times, so I'll give it a shot.

Amazon will pay you via check, in US currency. Next year, if you've made over $600 I believe, they will send you a 1099 which you take to your tax professional so you can pay tax on your earnings. I don't think it matters if you worked for a foreign company, so long as you are here, you'd pay taxes on your earned income. I'm not a tax pro, so I hope this response was helpful to you.

for international site like Amazon.co.uk. When you open the account, they don't ask you for SSN, will they still send you the 1099 form?
